• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Headlight Led Upgrade

Did some night driving tonight and I need to upgrade ASAP! Eager for your Sealight 3 review also.

I just installed the Sealight 3 and I’m very satisfied with them. It was a bit tough only because I have big hands 🤣 but it’s relatively easy process. Removed dust cover, unplug, replace, put in all the extra “stuff” and complete. I would like to see them from behind while driving but will need the wife to help but otherwise I think it was a solid buy.

Last night I drove the wife's car to the gas station and the yellow tint of the stocks just felt dingy and dull. Tonight I just finished installing the Hikari Ultras and may I say, these cars were meant to have them! The clean, revised, crisp look of the LEDs accent the Telluride perfectly! It took me all of maybe 8 minutes.

Any problem with the dust covers?

The only thing that my EX was missing were LED headlights. Today, I rectified this issue with an upgrade. My local LED lighting shop was able to install a setup that fits perfectly in the small cavity where the original incandescent sits. I will take some night shots later. The shop is also able to ship these bulbs as well if members are interested.
I have an EX also. I got mine immediately after my local Kia dealer started carrying them in February and was too impatient to wait for them to get an SX in that wasn't army green. The EX is plenty nice enough but I hate the halogen lights. Can't wait to change them to LED.

They have a 20% off code right now "LABOR". Very satisfied with them.

I am planning to purchase these also... why it telling me This does not fit your 2020 Kia Telluride. I have S trim

I order and installed these. Idk why it says they dont fit but they do. It takes less than 10 minutes to install. Only issue is they flicker with the engine on/off thing, but it's hard to notice and I dont mind. I have an LX.

Cross posted here: Headlight upgrade

I had my shop install these: ORACLE 9005 4,000+ Lumen LED Headlight Bulbs (Pair). I can't truthfully say they're better for visibility than the halogens but they make the front end of the car look a lot better. I think the issue is they're LED lights in a housing that was designed for halogens so the light pattern isn't as uniform as I'd like. The do make the road markings and signs stand out a lot more than the old yellow bulbs did.

Even the stock Stinger headlights flicker with the ISG... so I think it's just a normal thing with the vehicle, but barely noticable.

Hi guys, just purchased an EX couple hours ago and already looking to change the halogens lights. What’s the consensus so far with regards to LEDs? Thanks!

For those of you who upgraded (like me), have you noticed the base of the led light gets really hot, like untouchable hot after a night of travel. Try touching it.

Contrary to what most people think - LEDs do get hot, that's why they all have some sort of heat sink - generally, though, not as hot as incandescent...

No association with them - but, you might also want to check out superbringhtleds.com

Fanless, internal drivers and lifetime warranty. FWIW - used them in my Ford Escape and they matched the beam pattern perfectly (in reflector headlights).

I tried 2 different LEDs. $125 for the first (returned them) and $150 for the 2nd (returned them). After both failures I did a boat load of research. I wanted the color match (both LEDs did accomplish that) and I wanted to see better. I found out that despite what the LED companies advertise, the best Lumen brightness is currently 3,750. I saw some saying 9,000 and up. It’s BS. I also talked to a few pros and this is what it all boils down to...

LED: the tech is catching up to HIDs. There are very few LEDs that match what HIDs can do. The S-v.4 LEDs are a good example of the best bulbs available but the cost is $170.

HIDs: 55w bulbs deliver the best in beam pattered and brightness. Plus it’s 3-4 times cheaper. $40-$50 gets you a good quality bulb.

Telluride: do to the dust cover we all have on our headlights you will need to drill a hole in the center of it and put a rubber grommet in. LEDS OR HIDS. It’s not difficult to do. There are numerous videos out there to show how to do it.

I can’t believe how bright HIDs are. And for the cost it’s a WIN!

What HIDs did you purchase and currently have in the car?
