• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi. Relatively new Telluride owner. I have found this forum very helpful. Here is my current issue. My hubby removed one of the second row captain seat headrests. Without paying enough attention in the dark, I inadvertently put the headrest back in but backwards! And of course can't get it out to put it in correctly. I found older posts where owners had this same problem and tried following their advice for removing the headrest. I have had no luck! I will try to attach a pic of how I used a flat head screwdriver to stick under the cap as advised, while pushing in the button on the other headrest rail. I just can't seem to locate this magic button to push down or in with the screwdriver. Any additional advice?

Try pressing the screwdriver from the opposite side. Those indents are what the latch mechanism is catching to.

From this post on another thread, it looks like the buttons are facing outwards from the headrest though. Maybe go under the circle cap and upwards.

Thank you. I will give both ideas a try! In some of the older posts, one person mentioned it was so easy once they figured it out. I am waiting for that "aha" moment!😁
