Help with hood latch release!

Ok, 4 weeks old and now the hood latch release doesn’t work. I know there is usually a connection point for the 2 cables in the engine bay, I’ve checked the lever and cord inside the drivers footwell and all is connected fine there. I am thinking when swapping out bulbs in the driver side headlight maybe I hit/pulled on the hood release cable and caused it to come disconnected. I really would rather not waste a morning or worse a day sitting at the dealership for something as trivial as this, but upon getting under the vehicle to inspect, the whole bay is covered with panels so I’d rather not take everything apart if that’s not going to help.
Anyone willing to trace their cord in your engine bay and let me know where that connection point is, in case it may be accessible from underneath, or even where the final pulling point is in the hood latch itself so I’d know if I can access that point from underneath just to get the hood open?

Time to visit the dealer. Should be a quick fix for them.

Hope these help - but, it doesn't look like there is any easy way to reach it with the hood closed...

Did you make sure to check that the hood is actually locked?

I had this happen and was ready to pry it open when I realized the hood wasn't latched. Not on a Telluride.

I may be way off but make sure to check

Anyone know where is the hood lever? I can't find the lever to pop the hood on my 2021 SX. So frustrating

Inside by the driver's side kick panel is the interior lever - then safety catch when the hood pops part-way up - just to the right of the 'U' in Telluride, put your fingers in the opening, push catch toward the left to release.
