• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi. At the first service the dealer replaced wiper blades on my 2020 SXP. All was fine until recently they stopped wiping a small portion of windshield. I can’t understand why this happened or what the fix is. The rubber edges seems fine, ie: consistent across both blades.

Any suggestions?
Thx

If they are new OEM blades, they should conform to the windshield as your original blades did. If they are non-OEM or you have a defective blade, maybe the dealer can try giving you another one.

Worst case scenario would be if the KIA tech did not know how to set the wipers into service mode and tried pulling the wiper arms outward. Now the metal arms are warped and need to be bent back in to allow the blades to make full contact. If this was the case, you can check under the hood if there are any indents where they wiper arms were forced outward.
