  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just to say hi from Canada.

I have the exact same engine in my brand new 2025 palisade. I have driven it once since I had it. I went to drive it for a 2nd time & the battery was completely dead. In 2 days !!!
So I called the dealership. Advised me to get hyundai assistance to boost...I decided to get it towed back to the dealership.

They checked the battery. Said it was not showing as a bad battery but replaced it anyway. They couldn't find the reason why this happened. I refused to take the car until they got me an answer. I told them I searched for answers myself & saw lots of ppl with similar issues & no answers.

Not going to take the car & they are getting me another one.

I saw some on here say a faulty IBU unit could be a reason ? If so shouldn't they be doing a recall?

Thanks for listening.

They need to bring in the chief software person to debug the IBU UNIT. THERE IS A BUG IN THE SOFTWARE.
