Just to say hi from Canada.
I have the exact same engine in my brand new 2025 palisade. I have driven it once since I had it. I went to drive it for a 2nd time & the battery was completely dead. In 2 days !!!
So I called the dealership. Advised me to get hyundai assistance to boost...I decided to get it towed back to the dealership.
They checked the battery. Said it was not showing as a bad battery but replaced it anyway. They couldn't find the reason why this happened. I refused to take the car until they got me an answer. I told them I searched for answers myself & saw lots of ppl with similar issues & no answers.
Not going to take the car & they are getting me another one.
I saw some on here say a faulty IBU unit could be a reason ? If so shouldn't they be doing a recall?
Thanks for listening.
They need to bring in the chief software person to debug the IBU UNIT. THERE IS A BUG IN THE SOFTWARE.
