Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thats what I was thinking too, since there wasn't really changes to the interiors for the 2021s. The websites say it isn't compatible, but I think they just haven't updated them yet to include the 2021sPretty sure nothing was changed with the homelink mirrors for 2021.

I can confirm the S9F62-AU000 Homelink mirror is compatible with a 2021 EXP. I installed one tonight in less than 5 minutes. It took me longer than that to find the original remote so I could program the mirror--my previous car had Homelink, so I hadn't used the remote in years.

So does that part number mirror have 5 buttons or 3?

what does it take to install the mirror?
Yes, but it is not plug and play like the EX.
The mirror does come with instructions and the wiring to complete the install on the S.

Yes, on the EX you just unplug the existing cable from the old mirror and plug it into the new mirror. It has three HomeLink buttons, plus a compass heading display in the upper right corner. It does not have an on/off button for auto-dim like I believe the SX has, but the auto-dim works very well.
