Moved to #5 in line but no confirmation if that's by color/trim or anything whatsoever. I tried asking if I could transfer my reservation to someone else but they wouldn't allow it.

Ended up picking up another car over the weekend so I cancelled my reservation. Good luck to those still waiting!

I have almost the same exact spec as yours on order too (GWP SX with black interior, prestige and nightfall).

My order has the towing package with a gray interior, so I think I got lucky... Glad the new car is working out!

@staypuppy Glad to hear your order has made progress. I ordered a couple weeks after you - similar build but no prestige - and was told last week there are 10 SXs ahead of me. Slowly but surely…

I asked my rep last Thursday if Kia had picked up their orders for January and he said they had.

Anyone else experiencing this? I placed an order on 10/12/21 and it still has not been filled yet. Original ETA of 3-5 months is now "we're telling customers is 6-8 months from deposit date. we are still waiting for orders to get filled to determine an average wait time" with the ownership change.

I placed my order on 9/20 and was told probabaly 3-4 months... just got ETA of 2/28.. so closer to 6.. it's definitely backed up.

Ah I thought you already got the eta which is why you were hoping to see it in failcat. Usually the dealer gives you an eta and then it ends up in failcat.

What did you order? I ordered my EX way after you but when I did I was 14 in line and then 6 in line after December allocations. I asked today if my order had been picked up and was told no but no answer on what number in line I am.

KFOS opens up on 1/12/22 and closes on 1/19..I would check back next week to see if yours got picked up this month

Awesome thanks for the info! Is there a way to know when it opens? Someone above said they found out theirs had just been picked up which made it sound like KFOS had already opened up this month
