• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Mark your calendars. Typically the update arrives in November, but it looks like we're getting it early this year.
No changelog as of yet, but I suspect we'll have one come Monday: Hyundai Mapcare | FAQs / Contact Us

I'll update the thread when it arrives.

And, as I mentioned elsewhere, it doesn’t look like new 2023 owners will be getting the update (whatever it may bring).

The update for Display Audio units is now live. Changelog is here. The Navigation Map and Software Update is still pending.

Looks like they have amended the release date for the navigation system update to the 26th (Wednesday).

Yeah but I am not seeing a link for our cars? At least not 2021+

The navigation system update is not available yet.
Sorry was looking at the audio update portion too ... my bad!

Looks like it’s actually out today. As expected, nothing for 2023. Enjoy! I’ll report back later about unreported details unless anyone beats me.

Thought this would be quick but I'm 20min in and still getting 30 min plus for download remaining. This is with a beefy workstation and ethernet gig connection. Will check back after work.

doesn’t seem to be anything worthwhile in the update notes.

Note that the update page for April said absolutely nothing about the new radio interface or the ability for Android Auto to utilize the entire screen. So it’s not necessarily all-inclusive.

But there’s not much they can do, unless they provided more flexibility for user interfaces to placate the people who refuse to update because there’s tubes/the tubes are gone/the three tile home screen is gone/it’s purple/etc.

Okay. Update done and installed. Not really a big difference if you’re coming from April.

Same general interface.

Here’s what’s called out by the system as new:

1. New and improved sounds of nature
2. Applying sound effects for each mode (like if you don’t want QLS enabled for some things but want it for others)
3. New eco design theme (EV only, not for the Telluride)
4. French and Spanish voice recognition now supported in North America
5. Setting/changing home/work using voice recognition
6. Enhanced North American radio information display

That last one involves better information and graphics, depending on the station. For example, here’s my local public radio station playing before the update:
1666718488819.webp
And after:
1666718532456.webp
Other stations have more info and album art:
1666718632592.webp
Could be useful if you use the radio. I don’t, so doesn’t matter to me.

Otherwise, not much. There is a clock display when the 360° camera is being viewed, as well (in case you really need to know the time while maneuvering).

Used the Nav and Voice recog on my cross country trip NY-CA-NY and will probably never use it again. HORRIBLE ! Made me detour into a ghetto part of Memphis TN . Glad I carry a concealed weapon. My Verizon cellphone is 100x better. The adaptive cruise control was AWESOME !

Be careful, there’s a few on here that will write a narrative on why they use the factory nav and will not be swayed.

Android auto and waze when traveling. The detours have helped out more than once. Only need car guidance if no signal with cellular, which on my area never happens.
