• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Insurance cost for Kia and Hyundia a lot more than other brands?

Insurance dropped $290/ yr compared to my 2016 Audi S7.

anyone get their insurance cost or price for the Telluride? I was all decided on the telluride and I asked for a quote for a telluride AWD S and it was $300-350 more than similar suvs like the Honda Passport, Subaru Ascent, and Mazda CX-9. This is almost a deal breaker. Paying $300 more a year for insurance on a car is a hard pill to swallow. I asked our insurance agent why it was so much more and she told me on average Kia and Hyundai are anywhere from 250-350 more than other brands.
Mine only went up like $5 a month and the car it replaced was a 2011.

Mine jumped about $100 with geico. Switched from Hyundai Elantra toTelluride

My insurance went down like $35/year going from 2012 explorer limited to telluride sxp.

Mine went from $770 on a 2017 Pilot Elite to $820 for the SX Prestige. A $150 increase with Commerce Insurance in Massachusetts.

Not sure on the math - $770 to $820 is $50 difference - if it went from $920 then $150 would be the difference 🙂

So I received a quote from Geico who I was insured with of almost double my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I moved to Progressive and the quote for the SX was less than my Jeep so it seems like its just dependent on the insurance company itself. Needless to say I moved everything over to Progressive. I would just shop around as I am sure you can get good pricing on the Telluride.

I'm currently with Progressive as well and for the fun of it, quoted the SX AWD as replacement for our 2017 Lincoln Black Label Hybrid on Progressive's website. To my surprise, the Telluride was cheaper. A LOT cheaper.
