• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is the X Pro noisier than the XLine on the hyway do to more aggressive tires and roof rack cross baŕs

From the factory - probably yes, but it is all dependent on the tires and which roof rack you have installed. I've seen some complaints about a whistling sound from one brand of roof rack. Tire noise can vary not only from the tire brand and make, but they all tend to be a little noisier during the break-in period and then some tires get noiser as the tread wears down.

I've had my 2024 SX Prestige X-Pro for a year and installed the TimberLine FX racks. I was concerned initially with the more aggressive X-Pro tires but I was pleasantly surprised with both the ride and lack of road noise. Also -- I usually go with snows on my SUV's because of the harsh winters here in the Northeast. Going with the X-Pro negated the need for winter tires, as well as the hassle of getting them changed out seasonally.

I have an Android app called "Sound Meter" that is very useful for comparing sound levels. I'm not sure about its absolute accuracy but that doesn't matter for comparisons.
