Don’t tell the wife. Not gonna lie, the telluride was my fallback plan. The wife didn’t enjoy the test drive of the Challenger Red Eye nearly as much as I did. We eventually settled on the more practical option of the 3-row people hauler.

Don’t get me wrong here. I love the Telluride, and I love the Nightfall package on it. It was a solid fallback plan, but my dream of the v8 turbo charged HEMI will have to live on. I’m promised it once the kids are out. So its coming. Hopefully this sexy blacked out SUV will last long enough to get me there.

They tried close to 10,000 at first. It was ridiculous. I was able to whittle it down quite a bit though. It seems easier to do when you are paying cash. My wife and I were out the door at one point right before they came in with a better offer. I guess they must be selling a crap ton of these things because that was one of the toughest negotiations I've ever gone through.

It's replacing my 1999 Mazda Protege . Best car I have ever owned. 266,000 miles on it and I really wanted to get to 300, but it was time to let it go.
