Just placed deposit!

Hi all! I’m new to this forum

our dealership called today saying they have a white sx prestige coming in with an eta 11/29 so we placed a deposit.

she doesn’t have any further information on the car like vin or window sticker. I’ve read on the forum words like Failcat, Kdealer, and KFOS. Can anyone tell me what to look into next? I don’t want to keep calling the dealership!!

Congrats! Kind of odd they have an eta but no VIN.

Use fail at to look up your dealer (dealer tab) and find the car that way knowing the model/trim/options

Thanks for the reply! I just checked the website and there’s nothing there for any SX models with recent dates?

It won’t show up on failcat until you are closer to the delivery date; about 3-6 weeks prior on average.

You don’t track progress on failcat. Your dealer can show you the progress.

Yes we did. We had hashed out all the pricing in August because the dealership had a car coming in that week but then they had found out the car did not have the prestige package. So we were given the option to order it but the same kind of car was coming in November.
