  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I recently put a down payment ( $1000.) on a SXP with tow package, cross rails, ambient light and other stuff to bring my MSRP to 48900
also I was told at least 5 MONTHS. I thought they were kidding at first. Well the laugh is on me because there not kidding.

You're right, they were not kidding.

I will pick up mine tomorrow, 19 weeks.

Awesome! I'm sure you're pretty excited! I'm only 12 weeks in. I'm guessing we'll be looking at 24-26 or more if we wait for it to come in since it hasn't been allocated / picked up yet.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What will the Telluride be replacing for you?

Right now I have a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder (loaded) with 33,000 miles, my wife and I we’re all set to get a 2020 Traverse
until my neighbor told me she bought a Telluride but gave up after 1 month and get back her down payment, and bought a traverse.

I guess I was lucky. I went to one dealer in Tulsa and they had a long list of people on their board waiting on Tellurides. They also had a list of Tellurides and the dates they were expecting them to arrive. It was going to be a long wait. We just wanted to test drive one so we tried the other dealer in town. One of their employees had special ordered a Gravity Gray Telluride with all the bell and whistles but got tired of waiting on it and bought a Sorento. The Telluride had just arrived before we got there so we test drove it and bought it that day. Love it so far!

Well, unless there is something incredibly wrong with the Pathfinder, you have low mileage and plenty of time to wait out an order. You'll enjoy the Telluride.

You must have a HorseShoe somewhere on you. I’m in Buffalo NY and have been told this happens a few times a month, with people canceling orders half way through there waiting period. But a lot of them are Black on Black. I ordered Dark Moss with
Nappa Gray, and will not change, even though I was told my interior may take longer

It’s get better, we have friends in Delaware who are buying my Pathfinder and will wait until Telluride comes in. I do not trust the dealer to ‘GIVE ME A FAIR PRICE’ when I’m at there mercy after waiting 5 month, what can I do if They say we’ll take care of your note and that’s it.

The price should be negotiated up front when the order is placed and you put a deposit. Make sure of that, and get an order number. Ask for a kdealer printout. Don't let them say "we'll charge you the market price when the order arrives".

Welcome to the waiting room lol. I have about 5 months left at least. Summer needs to come so I can play with my mustang in the interim

It's not purchased until it's sitting in your garage.
Ain’t that the truth. And a deposit and a down payment are not the same thing.

Welcome to the line, make yourself at home. You'll be here for a while. The support group for those of quietly stalking dealerships hoping to get luck is only the left. The support group for those us routinely checking the Telluride lookup site is on the right. Drinks are in the back :)

Ha... that's for sure. I used to be checking the lookup site probably 20 times a day, maybe worse. Since I got lucky the other day in stalking dealerships, I figure I can still lurk these buyers threads and help out my brothers/sisters in their search knowing what I know on how to work the system.
