I received a Diagnostic Issue warning in the Kia Access App for my 2021 Kia Telluride. Long story short, I took it in for service, they completed the service and the warning is still active within the app. How long until it clears or is there anything I can do to manually clear it? See screen shot under DIAGNOSTICS ISSUES.
Thanks for your comments!
Full story: I was driving on the highway and the check engine light came on. I drove home and parked in my garage. By the next morning when I took it to the dealer, the check engine light was already off by the time I cranked it in the morning. When I got there, they asked me to look in the app, we saw the warning code P059700 which was a "thermostat issue" - the extended warranty paid for this service and I just needed to pay my $100 deductible. The entire thing was north of $700. Either way, I took the vehicle in with the check engine light already off, and now when I look in the app, the warning message is still present. Should it go away on its own? That's what I'm trying to find out. The dealer told me they're not sure how long until it goes away to just keep checking and let them know in a few days if it hasn't cleared.
The reason I'm asking for feedback is they were lingering for over a week with the car, so it triggered trust issues that the service was in fact completed.
