• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... KIA RELEASES TEASER IMAGES OF ALL-NEW 2027 TELLURIDE

So, I was shocked to say the least when I read the Telluride will use the 2.5T 4 cylinder as the base motor. They could have at least put the 300hp version in the car (using premium) so it outpowered the old 3.8. I personally believe this is a mistake as a V6 has a much better sound/feel and feel than a turbo 4, no matter the new motor has more torque.

I was surprised, too. I was hoping that they would offer a twin turbo V6 similar to the one used by Genesis. The new Telluride is bigger and the hybrid makes sense for those looking for that option. Making the other option a smaller engine and moving from an eight speed transmission to a six speed transmission is a downgrade in my opinion. I like that the steering wheel adjustments are now motorized as I had that in my previous car. I was really hoping for the dash cam option that the new Palisade has. I like the overall look, but this won't be my next vehicle due to the powertrain options. I really like my current 2024 Telluride and I'll stick with it for the warranty period. If I were in a position that I was ready to replace my current one, it wouldn't be with a 2027 Telluride.

Well.. the engine wasn't what I was expecting either, but when the dealership get them both in I will be going to try them both to see if I like them. I like the rugged one version..
