I can't thank you enough for providing this information!
I filtered your sheet and started working through each dealer one-by-one with the model/color/options I was looking for. I started calling dealers the first week of Nov so I used
VIN numbers that went as far back as Oct 1. I found that some cars were arriving quickly within 10 days from
VIN creation and some had already arrived and been sold by the time I called, others were around the 30 day mark and still hadn't arrived. My
VIN was created on Oct 29 and arrived at the dealer Nov 13th, hopefully that helps some of you who are/were in the same boat as myself.
Countless dealers would not budge off a $5-10k markup, one dealer in DC had 2 SXP AWD - black copper, dune interior on their lot. I offered to put down a deposit and get on a plane tomorrow, they would not come off their $5k markup. Many others said they wouldn't complete the transaction without a "market adjustment" or the dealer installed options (nitrogen fill tires, pin stripe package, blah blah blah for $4,000

)
Another dealer out in the middle of nowhere had two arriving within 48hrs but they wouldn't budge off the markup and "dealer installed options" hard pass on $56k + tax/title....gtfo.
Finally found one dealer, in KY, that would sell me the car at sticker price with no funny business or dealer installed junk, fought like hell to get them under MSRP to no avail. I put down a deposit and booked a flight to pick it up this weekend. The guys I dealt with were surprisingly very nice but they mentioned in conversation they normally sell EVERY car with a $4,000 dealer package, say what? (WTF, why is this how 80% of Kia dealers do business I've spoken with?) because I was able to track down the vehicle prior to arrival and before they had the chance to "install" their package they would sell it to me "as is" off the delivery truck. All things considered I'm cool with it.
I called 20-30 dealers up and down the east coast randomly looking for what I wanted and another 10-20 in the midwest. After stumbling upon your thread and database I called about 20-25 after filtering to my preferences. A solid two weeks of phone calls finally paid off! I really wanted to do a deal with
@Jason Fox and the guys in Muncie but I needed the car before end of the year.
I should also note I spoke with multiple dealers who were happy to do a deal at MSRP or a few dollars under with no funny business but they had already sold the particular vehicle I wanted or didn't have one coming in by end of the year. There's some good guys out there just keep pushing if you're in the same situation as me.
Again, I can't thank you enough for your help @Michelw
