• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Kia Telluride US production stats. by trim and colors

Add me! Same Black Copper/Dune SXP ordered Mid November, got an ETA of 3/4, cannot wait to see it.

The black copper is truly unique....nothing quite like it that I have seen! I would have loved the "dune" color for my interior , but the one coming into my dealer was fully loaded with everything else, so I accepted the black and am VERY happy! Took this photo after I came out of the car wash....you can the color is something different than "normal" black!!IMG_9926.webp

We truly like these 'faux black' colors, our current Grand Cherokee has sangria exterior, that purple in sunshine is so beautiful, so I can imagine the magic black copper!

Ordered like 1.5 months after me and an ETA before me... you should have bought a lottery ticket with that luck...
I will buy one when Kia starts building my Telly... Still can't believe I can get it in just 3 months.

Hey @Michelw any chance for an update for the new year? If you’re not busy with family of course. I don’t want to ruin any of that this time of year!

Here are the latest regenerated VINs as of December 31, 2019 in the Google Sheet.

The last serial generated VIN is 5XYP34HC3LG070280.

Note: During Christmas time, there were about 8 days for which no VINs were generated. I guess this will come back to normal starting this Thursday or Friday.

Michelw,
First off, thanks for creating this and for maintaining it! Awesome work! I almost had the Telluride I wanted last week thanks to your spreadsheet. Holiday travel prevented it unfortunately.

On Today's spreadsheet, there are a lot of empty cells. Some of the VIN numbers have periods in them (5XYP..HC.LG070268)? Can you take a look at your convenience?

That means they’re not allocated for the US market. Going to Canada or UAE.

Looks like a lot of copper black/dune unfortunately none are mine😢

Looks like about 600 cars got their VIN Dec 28th. As Canada seems to have the own tab, I guess all these got to UAE or other markets? Or any chance the db has wrong data and that some of these cars are going to the US?

@Michelw, as this excellent db starts to become pretty big (and with that a bit slow to do searches in), do you think it would be possible for you to divide into quarterly and perhaps make them available to export/download as well?

Happy new year everyone... I think I'm doing something wrong. Can you tell me how you see 600 cars got their VIN on Dec 28th? I'm looking at the google sheet and only see 100.

Thank you again for this! I almost made a trip to Groton, CT to grab the Snow White Pearl SXP AWD grey interior Telluride that went to Michael Kia, but instead contacted my dealer to see if they had any updates. (The other two closer dealers that got one are still marking them up). My dealer told me my Telluride will be in their next queue, and they gave me this code: MA042191120j005

I know MA042 is their dealer number. Can anyone tell me what the rest of the number means?

I see 617 with a 12/28/19 date.

Looks like November 20, 2019 order number 5 for the day.

Your order was #5 for your dealer on that day. That’s all that code means. That’s your order number. Has nothing to do the spreadsheet. The 617 that were produced on 28 Dec that don’t have VINs are destined for international delivery, not the US market.

Thank you! We pressed the dealer a few times for some kind of verification that our order had been put into the queue when we first ordered it on Nov. 15 (after seeing the horror stories on here). I suspected it wasn't put in the computer right away - when I asked what happens if we found the vehicle we wanted elsewhere, could we cancel, the salesman pulled the order back and basically said he wouldn't order it if that was our plan because it would mess up their allocation. I sent a follow up email asking for confirmation they were ordering it, which was never responded to which raised more concerns. I went into the dealer in December to check on it and see if there was something from the factory confirming receipt; they had nothing. I would have jumped on the Groton dealer's SXP except for the fact that numerous people have said that the dealer and salesman I am dealing with are reputable. This is the first "number" I have, with an email confirming they are ordering it.

Yes, 5th order for the dealership on November 20th. You’ll be waiting a few months still so get comfy and learn up on all the car has to offer.

Good catch. There was some empty data retrieved for some of the VINs during the end of December 2019. For an unknown reason, one day I get empty data for some of the VINs and then the next couple of days I got back some of the data (I think that this problem was on the Kia web site).

I have now fixed this in my Google Sheet.

The last VIN retrieved as of January 3, 2020 is now 5XYP5DHC9LG071072.
