Kia Telluride US production stats. by trim and colors

Have written a small computer application that generates valid Telluride VINs and then calls the Kia "windowsticker" URL to retrieve a windows sticker PDF file. From this PDF file I am able to retrieve all of the trim/color information for the Telluride including dealer address, exterior color, interior color, prestige package and towing package.

All of this data is then written to a small SQLite database in which I can query all of the information that I need.

As of 2019/06/17, here is the complete rundown of the trim/color combinations for the Telluride:

The most produced color: Ebony Black (4724)
The most produced trim: S FWD (5354)
FWD vs AWD: 49.5% vs 50.5%

Woohoo!! Our Telluride finally has a VIN#! 4 months and two days from ordering.

Dealer gave me an ETA of 28-December when I called on Wednesday, VIN# was assigned on Thursday according to the spreadsheet. I wonder if it will arrive according to the ETA?

When was your original order date?

If my calculations are correct his order date was August 26.
It is way too early for your VIN. You probably won’t get your ‘Ride until sometime in the summer. Time to find a nice winter hobby and try and get your mind off of it!

Srders for this combo made in late Sept are just getting updates that the car is now in queue to built with estimated delivery of March 9th or so.
you have a long ways to go before a VIN. Late Sept orders will likely get a VIN in early Feb.

All the reason to keep waiting it out! Those of us ordering the Black Copper/Napa Dune will have one of the rarest colors of Tellurides out there. I didn't want a common color. You've waited this long, don't start the process all over. At some point they will begin building that color, there are too many of us waiting. I just ordered mine last week because I wanted all the "first year production" problems with the Telluride fixed. It seems most major issues have been resolved. I'll gladly wait until June for a one of a kind (1000 out of 67000) Telluride built in the black Copper. I've got no current car payment and no expiring lease, I've got nothing but time to wait for it.

Okay they only show 2 which are both in thier Dealer stock(at the dealer) two Black EX AWD. So still waiting for now for order to fill.

My dealer called me last Friday and said my order had been picked up. Makes it seem a little more real. He gave me an ETA of end of February.

I was really hoping for delivery by the end of February, which would be 5 months for me, but it's not looking too promising at this point. Oh well, not much any of us can do!

I picked up my Telluride yesterday!!!!
I haven't been very active on here because I have been off work but just wanted to share that I finally picked it up yesterday after 142 days of waiting.I'm so glad the wait is over and I have to say,the wait and it is completely worth it and I'm very impressed with everything.
Even though it is not competing to be a luxury brand/vehicle,I gotta say it is very very luxurious and I'm a happy camper so far.Now just trying to learn everything and all features.For those who are still waiting,I know the wait is so hard an long,but it is absolutely worth it and it will be here very soon.I wanna thank Michelw and Stephen Cantrelle for all the help and support they have provided,not just me,but everybody on here.
So I ordered a Snow White with Dune,with AWD and Prestige,illuminated scuff plates and interior lighting.Michelw and Stephen informed on Dec 6th that there was a VIN and the ETA was DEC 24th/DEC 23th.On the door of the Telluride,it shows that it was produced 12-6-19.
That's the only info and updates I ever got throughout the almost 5 months.
As for the dealer,they did not do any funny business and everything went pretty good.The only dislike I have with them ,is that they did not inform or give me any update at all,but glad they did not do any funny business which would have ended our Telluride hopes.
I will post some pictures,when I have time.
I will continue to be an active and helpful member.Thanks again everybody for your support!
