Okay they only show 2 which are both in thier Dealer stock(at the dealer) two Black EX AWD. So still waiting for now for order to fill.

Hmmm...so of the 58,500 total Tellurides with window stickers, only 188 meet the model, color and main options of what we have ordered.

I, like many others, still don't understand why Kia can't fill the orders they have in a timely manner. 4 months to the day and I'm still as clueless as ever.

188 out of 58,500 represent less than 0.3% of the total US production.

If you want to get a Telluride faster, I suggest that you pick a trim/color combination that is produced in greater quantity.

Yes I am wondering why it is taking 6months. I am like is it that many orders ahead of mine? Or Kia gives a safe ETA. Also I look at the spreadsheet and my dealer hasn't had a Telluride built for them for all of December. So I am guessing they are considered low volume.

The reason I asked was I have never heard of someone getting an ETA so far out. Usually the dealer gets info once the vin is created then it usually is a quick process. I only know this from all my reading on here just seems weird that the date is so far out. I hope u get it sooner !

I am seriously getting very nervous there are no copper blacks with dune at all. I don’t understand I am just a a 3 month wait Now. Maybe I should have just settled for another color!

All the reason to keep waiting it out! Those of us ordering the Black Copper/Napa Dune will have one of the rarest colors of Tellurides out there. I didn't want a common color. You've waited this long, don't start the process all over. At some point they will begin building that color, there are too many of us waiting. I just ordered mine last week because I wanted all the "first year production" problems with the Telluride fixed. It seems most major issues have been resolved. I'll gladly wait until June for a one of a kind (1000 out of 67000) Telluride built in the black Copper. I've got no current car payment and no expiring lease, I've got nothing but time to wait for it.

I wish it were that simple for me or I could wait it out. I should have ordered back in January! Maybe I would have had it by the time my lease was up. I was told no orders from New Jersey shady dealers I am waiting but will have no choice come March no more extension on lease. Maybe if I call corporate and complain they would rush it or give me an other extension. I honestly feel at this point I am not gonna get it at all! I definitely am not gonna settle for another color I may do a short 2 year lease on a Durango then start the process again. Two more months!

The Austin stores are higher volume so you should be okay with any of them. If for some reason they won’t do the order at MSRP then myself(Carrollton) or Donavan(Corinth) here are in Dallas area and we would both be happy to place an order at MSRP less any incentives available when the Telluride arrives

Smithtown Kia said they were the largest but wanted 2k-3k over and wouldn't even discuss it. Called Karp Kia and they told me that smithtowns markup was less than them. Eagle Kia was offering MSRP but they they were not getting in much inventory at the time. I actually bought from Abeloff Kia in East Stroudsburg PA. They were great to work with and got a S for MSRP minus incentives.

Believe me its driving me crazy too! I got a ETA of 2/20 for my Blk Copper/ Dune (ordered 8/22) That will pushing 6 months! I just hoping they push the ETA up because this is getting frustrating.

Ordered same trim and color combo as yours and my dealer provided me the allocation with ETA of 3/4. I think the full VIN is generated only when Kia starts assembling the car, for me it's early Feb, only thing I can do is wait.

You're welcome. I worked with Julie from Abeloff. Did everything by phones text and email. It was very smooth even with a trade in. I drove up early and all the paperwork and Telluride was waiting for me. Got home before my son got off the bus.

Used to be on Long Island and the Smithtown dealers are not easy to work with based on my experience. You should try dealers outside LI.

Woohoo!! Our Telluride finally has a VIN#! 4 months and two days from ordering.

Dealer gave me an ETA of 28-December when I called on Wednesday, VIN# was assigned on Thursday according to the spreadsheet. I wonder if it will arrive according to the ETA?
