• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... These two SUVs share a powertrain: a 3.8-liter V-6 that makes 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across the board, and front-wheel drive comes standard on both the Telluride and the Palisade, with all-wheel drive available.

Kia officially says the Telluride can tow up to 5000 pounds, and Hyundai says to expect the same for the Palisade.

While both the Kia and Hyundai have the same 114.2-inch wheelbase, the Telluride is 0.8 inch longer and 0.5 inch wider than the Palisade.

Both have an 18.8-gallon fuel tank. Read more...
