• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi everyone. Anybody have a comment on whether tires where faster on the telluride when using lane assist all the time? I do find the car tends to overcorrect more than I wish, and I find myself using the steering wheel to adjust the lane assisting. Thank you.

Simple physics - A vehicle going straight will have less tire wear than one constantly turning corners. The question is - will minor adjustments/driver fighting the lane assist wear more than a driver in total control of the steering. I'm guessing the possible additional wear would be statistically insignificant.

;) You win today's award for Overthinking o_O

First of all - the LKA is pretty subtle, certainly no more drift than a car's driver would drive without any assist at all.
With HDA2, that only changes lanes for you if you are out on the interstate and again it too is subtle, there is no abrupt maneuvering.
