Latest information on Ordering System(Kdealer/KFOS) starting Sept 2020

Is there a KFOS for 2023s in October or are these initial orders just part of the weekly allocations? I’ve seen that some orders placed last week may have been already picked up.

My sales rep called Saturday and said the order i placed on Thursday was in and I’d hear from him next when they get the vin. I don’t want to bother him again after last week so I wonder if perhaps it got matched? He didn’t have an ETA though just said really soon or something.

Yes some of the orders got filled on our weekly allocation, the ones that didn't will likely get filled with our Oct KFOS(If you at the top of the list for others seeing).

Sounds like you got filled like some of my clients on our weekly kdealer allocation.
Same boat for my clients where it says it is filled but not assigned initial ETA's quite yet. but these fill as exact match which means they are likely already built with VIN.. just waiting for Kia to let us know exact VIN and delivery date.. which like your sales consultant mention should be really quick turnaround. I would think we see more info in the next few days for those that filled on kdealer weekly allocation.

Thanks!! That’s exciting! They mentioned some were at port on Thursday that were already built and they’d try to match me. I’ll hang tight and maybe get good news by the end of the week

We see how many of each trim/drive we earned.. so based of that we also see who is in queue in waiting list as well as who migrated from the kdealer waiting list to the KFOS side.

So yes on paper we see who should fill.. we get confirmation on Tuesday when KFOS closes.. We get initial delivery ETA's on Tuesday/Wednesday.

We also get "Bonus" allocations.. which may or may not fill. that gets figured out usually in next few days after KFOS closes.

This initial KFOS for 2023 models is not like normal so if your dealer doesn't know for certain either way give them a little slack. We have an internal thing happening with this first batch.(nothing to be alarmed about)
 
Asked my dealer today to change from the MLB to GG color and he said I'll have to remind them on Tuesday since they're locked down from changes while KIa does allocations. I was hoping to be early allocation since order was from back in March, but now I want it to be at least a week away :)
