Wow must’ve paid well over MSRP

I noted that your KS dealer received 779 vehicles, my local in the Cincinnati area received 443, and my order will have taken roughly 9 months. So the high volume dealers appear to get quicker turn around times. Plus perhaps some custompers cancelled their orders and they matched those vehicles to the next in line, hence the short wait? Could be a reason for some short wait times.

@StephenCantrelle - if June was the last KFOS allocation for the 22’s, do you expect the 23’s to start for the July pick-up or will Kia skip July allocations? I would think pricing and packages would be released if they were going to pick them up starting this month, right?

We will see how it plays out.. like you mentioned we will need our Training material first, and release from Kia to the general public.. If it is going to be open for this month than we will need to have 23 info released in the next few days..

No, it was not from a cancelation. I ordered it directly from dealer at MSRP. They are a high volume dealer. Passed up on another nearby dealer that wanted $7k over MSRP.

Carnivals are open to request on Kdealer. I don't know if it will be active on KFOS at this time.

Last month was only Sportage, Sorento, Forte, Telluride and K5's for KFOS.

Two weeks ago I stopped into the dealership to get any info on my order (placed 8/12/21). She showed me that it had not been picked up yet and we were #4 in line. I’ve been trying to fall in love with the 2023 as much as the 2022 since I was convinced that is what I would be getting. Then on 7/18 I received an email that my order was just picked up with an initial ETA of 8/30!!! I couldn’t believe it. When I checked in this week the date is now 8/28 but still no VIN. How long does it usually take to get a VIN?
