• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... OK, since I bought my Telluride last Fall, I’m constantly leaving the damn phone on the charging pad when I leave the car. Of course the moment I start looking for my phone, I realize exactly where it’s at. Ugh! Not sure if it’s a senior moment or a mental block (maybe both) but it’s almost become funny. Am I alone?

No - you are not alone!

Yes, you are alone ;)

The car will beep and a message will flash if you shut car off with a device on the pad.

My 2021 SX alerts me when my phone is in the charger when I open the drivers door after the engine is off.

I haven't noticed this - would be nice. If it's happening, it's not obvious.

UPDATE - I just went and tried this and it does indeed make a small chime and shows in the dash that a device is left on the wireless charger - that's nice. What I've found is that with my iPhone and magsafe case, you have to find that right spot to charge it and it's really hard. In fact when I did that on a recent trip - even with the charging light on, my phone didn't really charge. So my experience has been to use the phone to start my car when I go to the gym. So it's placed properly for the NFC chip to read, but isn't charging the phone because I didn't fool with it and don't really care about the charging spot, especially since it didn't seem to work when I did find it. So, because it's not charging, the car doesn't warn you about leaving your phone on the charger.
