If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... LED Fog Lights - Night Fall Edition - Pictures?

I just picked my 2021 Telluride, it is an EX “blackout” edition.....

NO front seat memory
NO foglights, called the dealer and he said it would be in excess of 2000.00 for the “retrofit” gotta get the foglights, a new harness is required since the EX does NOT include this option AND a new turn signal assembly..
and NO Homelink....

getting a light bar installed ... don’t really care about the other stuff.....

kinda bummed me out about the foglights... seems inefficient..

I can live without memory seats and the Homelink mirror can be added easy for $240. Fog lights - hopefully some after market folks will come out with after market add-on. Just did a quick search. It's wallmart, but if they work---

Those are nice lights, nice and bright , unfortunately they would NOT be “plug and play” gotta hook it up to a few relays and fish the “switch” through the firewall and drill a hole for the switch, there is NO shortcut.....

Yes, as far as know, no one on the forum has successfully done this yet. Better just to order the fog lights from the factory if you can get ‘em.

I may give these aftermarket lights a try. Hey, I once replaced the entire under-hood wire harness on my son's Datsun 280Z (long story), so hooking up a set of lights can't be rocket science.

Two months ago we were inquiring about the same thing with our sales contact. Had an order in for EX-P w/NF and TOW. I asked about fog lights within the package -AND/OR- adding to our order. He confirmed EX doesn't get them as of yet and the parts supply for dealers to add them didn't exist as of then...perhaps later in the fall.

Once we realized our White EX-P w/NF and TOW was priced within ~$1,500 of a base SX...and considering we were willing to add $450 fog lights, we actually switched our order to the White SX (non-Prestige and non-NF) for the added features below. My wife loves the black rims but didn't care about the remainder of the NF badging so everything is a win/win for our change...except waiting longer. Given we're both remotely working from home (likely through spring 2021), we're really not in a hurry to take possession of a car we won't drive much!

- Black wheels with upgraded Michelin tires
- LED Fog lamps
- Reverse tilt down side mirrors
- Dual Sunroofs
- Harman Kardon Stereo Upgrade
- High Beam Assist
- Blind Spot View Monitor - with upgraded dash display
- Auto-Dimming Rearview Mirror w/ HomeLink
- 12-Way Power-Adjustable Driver's Seat, w/ 2-Way Power Lumbar Support
- Driver's Seat Integrated Memory System
- Stainless-Steel Pedals
- Front Parking Distance Warning
- Surround View Monitor
- Memory Seats

Smart move. A loaded EX is so close in price to an SX - I am really surprised more people don't come to this conclusion. That said - I'm sure KIA would prefer people stick with the loaded EX - as it probably has a slightly higher profit margin than the standard SX.

that’s the rub, the 2012 EX “blackout” does NOT come equipped with the Harness OR the switch on the turn signal bar.... it can NOT be “simply“ done....

If that's the case, I will wire a set of after market LED lights and simply mount a switch somewhere convenient. It would be better to have the wiring already in place, but if not, I'll improvise.

When I first posted this question, the "Nightfall Package" options listed on the Kia.com website included fog lights, nightfall edition (as you can see in my screen shot in post #3 here). However, I just went back and checked today and, as you can see from attached, they have removed the fog lights from the listing. Also, the first time I trie to select the Nightfall package with the EX trim, I git a popup that said "Nightfall is not available on the color you have selected" (I had Dark Moss and Black leather selected). I cleared that popup and now I can select the nightfall package with Dark Moss BUT the picture shown of the vehicle does not change to show the nightfall package (the grill stays chrome and the wheels don't change). Yesterday when I would select Nightfall with the EX trim, Dark Moss, the picture of the car would change. Not sure what's going on but sure hope they have not eliminated Night Fall from the Dark Moss EX trim.

No more Fog Lights shown in listing for EX Nightfall package:

I have good friends who own the KIA dealership from whence I purchased by Telly .......quietly they have said to me that " KIA corporate controls all" and that the dealers and the ordering process are "not as well informed and updated" as they should be! The Telly is still my all time favorite SUV, but my best ORDERING experience was with Mercedes.....very communicative, knowledgeable and kept me up to date ....even to the point of when it had been loaded on the delivery truck!

Back in 2012 I ordered a Charger R/T Max and I was able to track it online through each step of the build process all the way to loading it onto the truck like you stated. Here we are in 2020 and Kia still isn't doing this.

The wife and I had the same discussion - Eating Domino's one night, we said "do you think there's an online tracking portal to track the status of the build? How neat would that be to have live streaming cameras along the assembly line where you could watch your vehicle being built".

Yes, that's exactly what Dodge does! If they can do it for pizza they can do it for cars!

I just ordered an EX with the Nightfall Package. One of the items listed is "LED Fog Lights, Nightfall Edition." I've seen some pictures of EX with the NF package, but don't see any fog lights. Can someone post a picture of an EX (NOT an SX) with the nightfall package? I'm especially interested in seeing the fron of the car and what the LED Fog Lights "Night Fall Edition" looks like.
They have a really good video on YouTube Type in (Kia telluride sx nightfall led lights).
Video is about 10 min.a little over 1000 dollars,I considered the Nightfall but the Vehicle is Beautiful no matter what you do with it!!!

Sorry to hear that ,when I was doing a build your own on the Telluride I realized that some didn't include Harmon Kardon so I just went for the gusto SX Prestige I never had a brand new car I'm 59 1/2 and bought my boy's 3 car's and wife, I lost count, but I've been driving 2005 Escape 236,000 miles,Time to just do it! No need to fret I'm sure the aftermarket is gonna blow up for these vehicle's.Pretty soon you'll have more idea's then money to make it your own,Good Luck post a pic in a couple year's when you create your masterpiece, just have fun.I got prestige and still no hitch, running boards, roof rack and tint in front side window's,but this my old Escape and New Telluride, worth the wait!

Hello from Toronto :) It's interesting how the Nightfall version is called NightSky in Canada due to whatever business/legal trade marks reasons. I bought this SX LIMITED NightSky(fall) version last month. I comes with regular leather instead of Nappa leather if people wanted the "NightSky" trim (odd, but I knew that ahead of time). My friends commented that the boxy style/grill remind them of the Star Trek "Borg" LOL (I didn't know what that was till Iooked it up) :ROFLMAO:.

The Tellurides here also have different trims. We don't have the "Premium" option, the model already comes with all the options minus the tow hitch and Nappa :) Anyway, I took it to the car wash for the first time, and glad the guiding wash track didn't scratch the rim/tire.

Cheers!

No, actually I ended up getting an SX with the fog lights built in, though I rarely use them. I find the regular LED headlights more than adequate without using them - but nice to know they are there in case we do get snow or foggy conditions that would require them.

Got it. Well, I went ahead and ordered them. We'll see how it goes.
