• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have the top of the line X-Line trim on my 2024 Telluride. I thought that all of the bulbs were supposed to be 100% LED in the vehicle. It is really dark and wet right now in the Pacific Northwest and I noticed how difficult it is to see when backing up in the dark. I went and checked and both the license lamp and the back-up lamp are just standard incandescent bulbs. I swapped them out using VLED lamps and the difference is night and day. I purchased the following:

License bulb: VLED 194_14_W_5K_LL and Back-up Bulb: VLED 1156_50_W_5.5K

Now, I'm wondering what other bulbs that I thought were LED are not. What have others discovered in their Tellurides?

I highly recommend VLED for their LED bulbs. I've been using them for 12 years and they are top of the line (not cheap) and they stand behind their warranties. I've only had one fail in my 12 years of using them and they had a replacement out to me the next day.

You just figured that out? I noticed it the day I got my 25 and ordered replacement LED's immediately. There aren't any other non LED's to worry about. The back up bulbs in LED are WAY better eh?

Yes, I just figured it out. The owners manual and service manual are confusing as they list LEDs for the back-up lamps and for the license lamps, so I wrongly assumed that since I had the top of the line package that everything was LED. The back-up bulbs are so much better now with the LEDs and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to swap them out. It took about 5 minutes on the passenger side and 10 minutes on the driver side.

Glad to hear that you haven't found any other non-LED's.
