Hi all,
I have the 2020 Telluride EX, last week the liftgate refused to open. I tried the lift gate sensor reset. Doing the door lock-unlock, childlock lock-unlock and nothing seem to work. Check all setting in display setting. I did a search but couldn't find anything applicable. Below are the symptoms. Any suggestion is much appreciated.
1. Liftgate will not open with fob, lift-gate button inside vehicle, or the liftgate door latch.
2. Liftgate would beep a few times whenever the above actions are use, but then nothing happen.
3. Liftgate would close normally (automatically) when door is open and lift-gate button is press.
4. Liftgate would automatically latch and close the lock whenever the door is closed close enough to the latch to engage.
5. Liftgate proximity sensor no longer beep when I stand next to it with the fob (battery in fob replaced)
It seem to me like my proximity sensor is faulty, but I am not sure. Does anyone here know the location of the liftgate proximity sensor? Again, any input is much appreciated.
Today, my whole battery was drained overnight. I don't know what caused it. Thank you for any inputs.
