• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... List the thing(s) that annoy you about your Telluride

Here we go:

1. Lettering for Radio, Nav, Map, etc., buttons needs more contrast; difficult to see the letters during the day.
2. Seat belt capture assemblies need to stick out just a little farther from the seats.
3. The insufferable Traffic Light Camera Ahead must die but can't be killed.
4. Voice mapping using location names (i.e. Empire State Building) is mostly clueless, keeps asking for the name to be repeated. Voice input by address is mostly ok.
5. Auto shutoff, Auto Hold must be enabled with every frickin startup.

That being said, our '22 SX-P is brilliantly thought out and human-friendly. Finest vehicle we have owned.

Thanks. I had a rattle for a few days that was driving me crazy. It’s amazing how grating it is to hear it… I think I isolated to something on one of the back seats although there is nothing obvious.
We also have a 2011 Acura MDX, acquired it off lease. It's been a really good car but there's a constant squeaking from the back seats. It took a while to track down - turns out it's the backs of the split fold down rear seats that rub against each other just from normal vehicle motion. I "fixed" it by putting a piece of gray (interior color) felt between the seat backs. Squeak resolved as long as the felt is in between the seat backs.

Great solution. I might have to put a buffer in as well. Maybe one of those little rubber bumpers.

Pro-tip: if you have a rattle somewhere and it is an area that has screws, put felt in the hole with the screw … works wonders.

One new thing I noticed today. This might be intuitively obvious, but I'll mention in just in case. If the mirrors are folded in, the 360-degree view while in reverse does not give an accurate view of the Telluride. The side cameras are mounted on the mirrors, and folding them in significantly reduces their effectiveness for other vehicles or obstructions alongside the Telluride.

What annoys me?

The concept and application that the main players in life ie: banks, energy companies, multinational corporations etc ... all take the opportunity to profit massively during times of chaos and unpredictability.

Having a great vehicle like my telluride makes it a little more frustrating when gas prices are so high and I know they are taking record profits off the back of "inflation".

But it is what it is. I should probably just buy an ebike and just bike everywhere lol, by myself. Camp in my local baseball dugout ...

Sigh. Tired and false bumper sticker trope above. You need look no further than our current national energy policy for the spike in gas prices.

Back to the real conversation on this thread: I find the separate volume controls for Radio, Sirius XM, and media (phone) very annoying. Maybe there is a setting to turn that off somewhere, but I haven't found it (please advise if there is). As sources are switched, I alternately get blasted or get no sound depending on where the volume was last set for the source I'm going to.

Rubber bumpers wouldn't work, as it's the upholstery along the length of the sides of the rear seats that's rubbing together and squeaking. The gray felt from Micheals was a cheap, low tech solution. College kid now drives that car, so I don't hear the squeaking (from the car) any more.

I picked my Telluride up yesterday, then drove it back home. This is notable only because I'm 712 miles from the dealership.

I noticed last night that the dash light dimmer switch affects all the dashboard back lights, the center console lights, and the power window backlights. However, it has no effect on the center display. My '21 Sonata works the same way. I'm not sure why center display backlighting does not follow the other dash lighting settings. It's truly a minor annoyance.
You can set the dimmer control switch to mirror the displays or not mirror them, that is right in the light settings.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of that. I'll check it out.

The panel around the S drive mode knob. I thought this wouldn’t annoy me but it finally ate at me after 50k+ miles. It feels like it’s missing a finishing piece as the plastic doesn’t match any other trim piece and it appears to scratch and show wear more. Thinking of buying some black vinyl to wrap it or making a sticker.

Only one complaint so far - the lumbar support wasn't really getting the job done for me. Pretty sore after just three hours on the road. Feels comfy when you get in, but over time and miles it's just OK.

So far only 2 things bother me.
1. The ISG default as on. This should be a on or off choice in the setup menu.
2. Seems like there should be a camera for the 2nd row of seats. Put it in the dome light. I would like to see if something is on the back seat, watch my dog in the back seat, see a baby or toddler in the back seat, etc.
Maybe a 3rd would be an add-on console between the 2nd row seats. They could sell it as an accessory.

Yeah, sigh to the above post. Vast generalization.

You need to look no further to the Dunning-Kruger effect to explain your position.

Maybe stick with trying to figure out buttons first my friend.

The rattling, I can't stand the rattling. I can't pinpoint it either, its not the rear A/C and its not the rear seats, seems to be further back toward the trunk.

The inability to turn off safety systems permanently, especially forward collision warning. Too many false positives. I dislike the vibration in the steering column with a passion.

I know you can adjust the sensitivity. You can change it from being hypersensitive to basically brace yourself 😳

I have the same rattling issue in mine. At first I thought I solved it when I adjusted the truck-stop rubber pieces on either side of the trunk lid, but alas that does not seem to be the whole culprit. My wife sat in the third row once and systematically tried listening for the rattling and applying pressure to different points on the trunk but we had no real success.
