• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... List the thing(s) that annoy you about your Telluride

I have the same rattling issue in mine. At first I thought I solved it when I adjusted the truck-stop rubber pieces on either side of the trunk lid, but alas that does not seem to be the whole culprit. My wife sat in the third row once and systematically tried listening for the rattling and applying pressure to different points on the trunk but we had no real success.
we tried something similar...i think it ended up being the car seat

Hah I had my wife drive and I sat in the third row trying the same thing. I thought the rattling was where the plastic meets metal on the trunk door, but like you I had no success. I'll let you know if I ever find anything!

There is no rhyme or reason as to which profile is selected at startup. You always have to look to make sure which profile is being selected.

I thought it was always the last used profile, but anyway I dislike it too. I wish it was tied to the keyfob like my old bmw.

Same here with the 2nd row captain. I tried adjusting the seat every which way. I can't stand it.
Same here. Just drove down from NY to DC today. Was going nuts by the end. Just spent 57k on a 2022 fully loaded. Didn’t expect this. Also has an annoying, constant metalic tapping sound coming from somewhere in the rear passenger side, like expansion creaking from the exhaust. Loud and maddening. And my phone charging bay cover doesn’t close. Waited 6 months for this car after reading all the great reviews. Other than the tortuous vibrating seats and tapping sounds, a beautiful car. I called my dealership and they were very sympathetic. Let’s see if we find a solution.

$57,000? Holy markup you got shafted

1) The way Sofino Leatherette feels like when you wipe it with ANY wet rag. Its like wiping a rubber seat with a rubber rag.

2) All black interior. I get demoralized by how often it needs cleaned.

3) I feel like this car cant be kept for many years like my older cars. I just know everything is gonna fall apart. An expensive technology repair, etc.

Finding the strengths of the Telluride is easy for potential buyers. But weaknesses usually become apparent only after owning a vehicle for a while.

So, what things bug you most about your Telluride?
I have an issue with my resistance on my tailgate closing. I was putting groceries in and my finger hit the button on the key by accident. It closed on me trapping me. I couldn’t get it to go back up it bruised my back and my husband had to come and manually force it up a little so I could crawl out. I then got it to close and I tried it again. It doesn’t stop if I use a lot of strength to stop it. It doesn’t go back up, it stops right there but only after using a lot of force. Am I missing something. Is there something to turn on? If you saw the bruise it did to me at 50, imagine if that was a child that got caught. I own a 2022 Telluride. Any advice is appreciated. Bought in Bangor Maine at Van Syckle

Did you knowingly buy a car with high tech features just to complain about the technology and how much it would potentially costs to repair? Or did you buy the car without researching about what it had to offer first?

Not normal behavior, if it senses any obstruction preventing it from latching closed, it should automatically retract. Have seen it retract from grocery bags not being pushed in all the way.

I've had a 2022 EX-P for four months; just turned 2,000 miles.

1) I don't like that the Idle, Stop & Go (ISG) function defaults back to 'on' upon each restart versus staying set to whatever the setting was when turning off the vehicle at the conclusion of the previous drive. I know this is a 'first-world' problem. I do like that it can be easily disabled by pushing the ISG button upon each engine restart.

2) I don't like that the FCA defaults back to Assist upon each engine restart versus staying set to Warning Only. I know FCA can be turned off completely if also turning off Electronic Stability Control, but it seems strange that it doesn't retain the Warning Only setting.

3) The sound system is unimpressive.

4) The headrests are angled forward too much, for me. I read a post wherein a person removed the headrests and bent the support rods a bit, which I'm going to do.

5) It's strange that only the SX has a 'home button' for a garage door opener.

6) I continue to wish it had more horsepower and torque.

Ya, something like that. Go somewhere else.

This functionality is also a favorite target of the members of a Jeep forum to which I belong. Here's the thing: the purpose of such engine stop-start systems is to save fuel, thereby slightly boosting the manufacturer's EPA mileage ratings for the vehicle (and on average). But this requires the fuel-saving system to always be on as the default. If it can easily and permanently disabled by the driver, just by flipping a switch, then the mileage rating won't incorporate the fuel savings it can provide. The manufacturer isn't going to pay for the development and installation of these technologies and then not reap the valuable EPA benefits.

I saw this video. I can't vouch for it as I do not know of anyone who has used it.

I don't have any experience with the Telluride-specific device, but in general, I think these gadgets do work, since they're just making a simple electronic workaround. The real question is value: is it worth $100 just to avoid having to spend 1 second pushing a button each time you start your car? For some people, maybe it is. Personally, I like having the engine shut off rather than idle unnecessarily, so my choice is easy.

3) The sound system is unimpressive.
Bass 10
Mid 3
Treble 10

I've had vehicles with factory subwoofers and even some GM Bose systems which I thought have been some of my favorite factory systems but I think my EXP Telluride has the best system I've had. I'd say the HK system in the SX is much more dynamic at low volume but doesn't hold up as well when you give it volume. The EX stereo can handle volume and sounds fantastic when you give it volume in my opinion. Try those settings, I promise it can handle the bass.

And Bass Boost from Premium sound settings. I’m impressed with HK

This function on my S60 is able to be permanently disabled, believe many other makes do too.
