• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... List the thing(s) that annoy you about your Telluride

Yea, the USB port does suck. I will miss that about the Sorento, it had the hard drive on it and I uploaded all my thumb drive music on it so I could listen to it and use AA at the same time.
Can you just plug a USB splitter or dongle into it?

If you have AV problems, try using the reset button for the head unit.

No, it won't recognize it.. others have tried with no success... it would be nice if it could though.

Ah the lighted homelink, I forgot about that one. That’s absurd to me with everything on this car that they didn’t illuminate that.

Big thanks! Thats way better than I thought it was going to be.

It's great. Full widescreen would be better but this is still infinitely better then trying to use your phone as navigation display while driving. I know people want wireless AA as well but I personally like that my phone is getting topped off on charge whenever I am in the car.

I would like wireless AA because I have a bunch of music on USB and can't listen to it and use AA at the same time.. got the wireless charger to charge with.

Pretty minor complaint but the user’s manual barely fits in the glove box! Why is it so huge?

These are the issues for me as of now...
1. Panel gaps for pull up window shades makes them go inside. I have to fish them out sometimes. Design issue not sure ?
2. Annoying low rattle from rear seat. Not sure what it is ...
3. I have noticed that sometimes the parking sensor alarm does not activate when pulling up in my garage and sometimes it works.. Not sure if anyone noticed this.
4. The collision warning system activates when i still have time to break.... Once it initiated a screeching brake when the car in front was taking a right turn and i did not break knowing i will pass thru straight in time as the car in front of me will turn. But the system took over and applied emergency breaks.
5. Lane keep is a hit or a miss. I can see both the lane lines but the system cannot :) Not sure what is the criteria... BTW my the windshield was clean for the top camera to see.
6. while in HDA or Smart cruise the steering will not turn more than 10 or 15 degrees. If the road turns more than than the system gives up and i have to take over abruptly... There could be more threshold...
7. Too thin cushion on the arm rests and center console. You can feel this in the long rides

I agree and have issues 1, 2, and 7. 5 and 6 are just system limitations. It's not meant to be full self driving and will have moments where you'd think it work but it just doesn't.

4 is working as designed. You're assuming the car in front of you completes the turn in time. What if they suddenly have to stop or change their mind? You may end up rear ending them...

I agree with 2 completely I’m thinking about throwing some WD40 or something on the bolts and see if the helps. I’ve also just dropped the seat down behind the driver and that’s helped.

A new issue for me just this week has been a small rattling that sounds like it’s coming from inside the driver side door. I’ve gone over everything and can’t find anything loose

I will be mentioning this to the dealer on my next service but I’m sure when they do a road test nothing will come of it

Agree on 4. I must be pushing it too much...

You are right. Dropping the seats down helps... To me it feels like the leather from the back rest rubbing over the bottom seat at the edge....

Good thread

One thing and one thing only for me: can’t lock the freaking doors from the outside while the car is running except from the app. Drives me nuts when I want to just hop out at the store real quick!

I can’t do this with my Toyota Highlander either and it drives me crazy. I’m glad to hear that at least it will work in the app.

Quick update after doing some highway driving at night over the weekend. These LED's are great and made a huge difference so they definitely resolve my complaint with the headlight quality in the EX.

I went with a pair of retrofit LED's. Seems the debate about which kits are the best is still ongoing in other threads but I decided to give the V.4 from Headlight Revolution a try and have been happy so far after a few days of using them. LED Headlight Bulbs - V.4 LED Headlight Bulbs - Headlight Revolution

The pattern is almost identical to stock but throws much further and is much brighter. Also I was very concerned about the brighter lights messing with other drivers but I have not gotten flashed and can see the cutoff line is below the eyes and mirrors of oncoming vehicles and those directly in front of me as well. The real test will be when I get out on the highway at night which is when I really noticed the weakness in stock but based on my around town drives I can already tell I will be much happier.

As a side note, these bulbs do have external drivers however there was plenty of room in the headlight housing for me to fit the external driver in there behind the dust cap. My only issue with them is that the harness clip on the stock wiring did not quite fit so that is currently not clipped tight. I was working with limited time when I installed them so I plan to take a closer look sometime soon.

Found a little annoyance. For the second row bucket seats, the button that collapses the seat (on the side of the seat) is too accessible and too easy for a 2 year old to push every time he walks up to the car.. clearly speaking from experience lol.
It's not a big deal but I didn't realize how easy it was for my kid to move the seat if he wanted to.
