• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... List the thing(s) that annoy you about your Telluride

Little things (SXP):
1. I can't get used to the Homelink button on the mirror and keep whacking the mirror out of adjustment when I open the garage door.
2. Not having actual buttons for my radio/XM presets (also, how do I keep the toggle on the wheel from going through all the FM presets in addition to the XM ones?)
3. It's been a week and still can't get the Kia Access/UVO app to work (it just constantly updates) - this is my biggest complaint and ties in with the next one on my list
4. No remote start on fob
5. Slight hesitation on the acceleration

Those said, really enjoying it so far!

Howdy,
Things for KIA to change or fix.

light up the homelink buttons
make the auto/start/stop default to NOT on. Push the button when you want it.
remote start from the FOB. Like all other cars out there.
add rotate tires to maintenance like oil change interval. Had it on the optima.

I think the slight hesitation in acceleration might be due to the electronic throttle. Not sure if this works, but if it really bothers you, you can look into it:

Update on the squeaky back seat. Took it in Wednesday for oil change and mentioned it to the advisor . They took my back seat out and shaved down a piece of metal that was rubbing causing the noise. Have not heard it in last 2 days so that has been nice

One small thing that is annoying me is that the passenger side window shade is at risk of retracting into the door with min use... keeping an eye on it for now. See comparison of the other window shade.

My two year old constantly does the same thing lol. He laughs every time he pushes it and it moves and makes that electronic/mechanical sound.

If this helps , I removed the fuses for the rear seat buttons, now the handle is the only way to slide the second row . My kids are both in full child seats and I was worried the motors would burn out over time given they cannot fold forward .

I love my Telly thus far, but I don’t like the HUGE hazard light button in the center of the dash.
The no remote start On the fob, have to use the UVO app which we will drop due to cost in a few months.
The headlights aren’t bright enough.
The wiper/turn signal thingies on the stirring column should be illuminated as they are impossible to see in the dark while driving.
The passenger seat in the S should have power as well.
That’s about it for now :)

Some things you've heard before (EX):

No Homelink
No key fob remote start
No seat memory
Underwhelming headlights
Radio mutes when in reverse (why?, is this a setting?)

So some idiots will pay attention to ANYTHING that may impede running in reverse...no distractions... I play my radio loud so...it drops a few octaves while I am going in reverse...so what..it only lasts a short while and increases one in drive. I would love remote as well and I see it as something that KIA will add. My headlights are fine but then again..I went for the SXP. When a younger man, I could buy a say.... Camaro... it could be a 6 banger stripped or up to a 427 monster... I could get AC and even an 8 track... The more you pay ...the more they had... Just sayin'.

Dont like the rear cup holders. I have knocked the kids drink out of cup holder on back of center console a couple times already.

I have the same issue.

On the topic of headlights, the LED lowbeams on my SXP are fantastic. But the high beams suck... they illuminate further than the lowbeams, but are not nearly as bright as the lowbeams.

Not sure but we haven't had any issues w the app. Works well so far. We have a SXP.

First let me say that there are so many things I love about the car, seat comfort, leg room, window shades, tilting seats in rear, etc. Having said this. I miss.....homelink, being able to save seat and mirror settings, the grab handles are useless and hit my knee uncomfortably. Oh well not perfection.....but close.

No remote start. I wouldn't have been a deal killer, but I didn't even ask. Who'd have thought that a 2020 40K vehicle wouldn't have remote start.
It does remote, through the app. Works great.

How Kia allows dealers to inflate prices and their terrible ordering process are the biggest things that annoy me about my (future) Telluride :)
