Lock while running?

Is there a way to lock the Telluride while it’s running?

I’m 2 weeks into being a first time Kia owner after being with BMW and Audi for the last 8 years, and was always able to lock them while running. wasn’t sure if there was a way to do it I’m not figuring out, or if it’s just not possible.

No way to lock with the fob while the engine is on. Can roll down the window, get out and press the lock button by the window switch, and move your arm out the way before it closes. Or lock using the mechanical key. Or remote lock with your smartphone app.

When you get back to the car, can use your key or the remote unlock on your smartphone app.
