• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Locked out after opening rear hatch and putting pocket book with key in it in the rear compartment and then shutting hatch....completely locked out of car. Settings to change or steps to prevent being locked out by accident again?

Watching with interest. Maybe it's a setting thing?
Example: Wife's pocketbook in the car and I try to push the button to lock outside button. The car will NOT lock. Because it senses her key inside the car, inside her pocketbook. (The Toyota Crown, the same way) I can lock the doors however, only after manually pressing the "Lock Button" on my key fob. As an acknowledgement.

When I would leave customers car outside for an after hours pickup. We couldn't lock the key in the car. However wrapping with aluminum foil stopped the car from seeing the key fob inside.

Watching...
