If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Stumbled across this forum while doing research on our next car. We have a small son and another one on the way and our sedan was not going to cut it. We looked at a few different three rows SUVS. The 2022 Acura MDX was nice but the third row was not going to fit our needs and the scroll pad to use the infotainment screen was not great. My wife wanted the Volvo CX90 -- great car but the price point to get the features I was looking for was out of my comfort zone. It came down to the Palisade and the Telluride. Both great cars but I really liked the Telluride. After a lot of convincing my wife FINALLY agreed to give the Kia a chance and I started looking at dealers and realized finding one that would sell at MSRP was rather difficult. Looking through the forums I finally found one that was willing to sell at MSRP. I called the dealership Friday and asked about ordering a SX-P. Then out of the blue on Saturday he lets me know he just got that same interior/exterior combo I was looking for at the dealership and asked if I wanted it! Of course I said yes and brought it home today. Can't wait to start setting everything up and driving it around. Just ordered some car seat covers to protect these nice seats from the car seats.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your brand new Telluride! What did the Telluride replace for you? I'm glad you found us. :)

Wow, what a sweet deal. What color did you get for exterior and interior? Did you go nightfall? Anyways enjoy your new telluride and definitely post some pictures in the forums here.

Got the Glacier White Pearl with Dune Brown, did not get the Nightfall (although that looked really cool)

This was actually my first car! My wife has an Acura TSX that we have been using since we got married but I always lived in the city so I never needed a car.

Nice! What dealer did you buy at?

Good for you! Congratulations! We had a similar experience. Someone bought our Telluride the day before but their financing didn't go through. The next morning she had to walk away, and the dealer posted it on their web site literally a second before we checked their site. We called, they agreed to hold it until we got there and we flew out of the house and drove an hour to go get it. Also at MSRP.

RE: Nice! What dealer did you buy at?

Got it at Sussman Kia in PA. I am from Chicago (hence the username) but live on the east coast at the moment

@Chicagoan welcome to another Chicagoan, even if you are living in the east coast, your heart will always be Chicago.

Your story sounds similar to mine. My wife and I were all set to get an MDX last year. We started researched and realized we really needed a usable 3rd row though. My wife loves the XC90. That is the car she would want, but we could not afford a $60K+ car. Made no sense...

We even looked at the 2022 MDX but it still was overpriced for what you get (compared to the Telly). The 3rd row was bigger, but still not very usable. I placed an order for a Telly in Aug 2020 and just got it 2 weeks ago! Loving it so far...

Nice! Glad you're liking it! Yeah I was really confused why the MDX didn't decide to get a more spacious third row with their redesign, I believe the length of the car is about the same as the Telluride, just seems like a lost opportunity.

Exactly, they could have really taken a big step in the 3-row luxury market a slightly bigger interior.
