• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... No changelog as of yet, but the version number jump hopefully indicates that it's a sizeable update. I'll post the changelog once it surfaces; in the past it has typically been in advance of the update becoming available.

I couldn’t care less. Built in Nav is never as good as what’s on your phone. The only benefit is turns show on HUD which I guess makes it less stressful for the longer trips because nothing is updated as quick as maps, google maps or Waze. I don’t see the point why manufacturers continue to put money into supplying this.

To be clear, these aren't just maps. They update the entire infotainment unit, often times fixing bugs and adding new features.

I look forward to update, thanks

Some people (like me) don't bring their phone everywhere they go. I love the nav and use it allll the time

Hopefully it will provide larger and more definable print for street names; current version sux a bit.

Im hoping the home screen is updated, and the sirius xm radio gets a huge upgrade. Its currently pretty bad and the update from over a year ago made it worse.

Hip Hip Hooray, Hip Hip Hooray. Thank you for the updated info. Always look forward to the update and new features. The Nav is ok however the Voice recognition for the Nav is the absolute worse I have ever experienced. I bought my first Telluride in early 2020 and it worked great until the first UVO update and all of a sudden it couldn't understand anyone in my family. Hoping that they fix this or put it back to the way the Voice recognition use to be.

All right, guys, the update came early!

Big news for people who actually use the radio and hated the tubes. Also, reorderable presets!

And for Android Auto users, full screen capability (at last)!

Main home screen is still the same.

Is that android auto full screen or did you split the screen to have music on the side?

Can you still have Google Maps or Waze on the left 2/3 and SXM on the right 1/3 of the screen? That's my normal setup, and I like it a lot.

If you still have “enable split screen” checked in setup > device connections (as you do now), then it will work as it always has for you. That will keep it as 2/3 screen instead of taking up everything with the AA interface.

Okay, great thanks.

What if I then want to switch from SXM to a podcast or music app in AA? Would I have to uncheck that option in the settings to get the podcast/music app to appear on the right 1/3 of the screen?

If you want to display your AA maps and your phone audio, yes. But currently you can display the phone audio info on the right 1/3 if you’re using the stock maps, weather etc on left 2/3.

Another pic of the radio interface from today’s update. Not only do we get drag & drop customization of presets, XM NOW SHOWS COVER ART FOR SONGS! Yay! Few other changes I noticed: the command beep is new, a purple blob that looks like Slimer’s brother appears on the screen when the system is processing, and voice instructions seem to be a bit different/more detailed in some regards. No 3-way split screen return, but at least Kia/Hyundai has been listening some! Overall, a decent upgrade.

Appreciate all the information on this site. I have a 2021 EX and have been having a slew of issues with the infotainment system. Reading a little sounds like these updates might help. I just got home from the dealership and they were zero help with the infotainment system. They just pressed the small reset button which did nothing.

Is there an guide on how to download and install the navigation update?

Appreciate any help
