Moritz wait listers

Curious to see what other people are hearing… ordered an EX/AWD/NF on May 3rd from Ft. Worth. Spoke with them today regarding the 2023 coming out and was told that even if the 2023 goes into production they will still complete all current orders in the 22 model year. They weren’t “able” to tell me where I am in line but stuck with their original 3-5 month estimation, saying probably end of August or beginning of September. Hard to know how much stock to put in that, and I’m not holding my breath, but since it looks like nightfall is going away it will be interesting to see what happens.

Well I don’t know what happened to my Wolf Grey SX with Butterscotch and Nightfall placed in Jan. I know it was submitted just hasn’t been picked up by KIA. My guy says there is a backlog of orders but someone backed out of a White SX-P with Dune Brown and Tow Package. Does it seem like Failcat is reporting more loaded Tellys? Ok with losing Nightfall at this point since it is white. Picking the car up tomorrow.

Congrats. The Prestige package adds a lot more value than Nightfall in my opinion, so I think you'll be happy with the switch. DB is a little darker than BS, but it's a great interior color.

I didn’t go in as ready as I wanted with financing and trade-in done before I got there but overall experience at Moritz Hurst was great. As they don’t know what is coming in until truck arrives, I have to go back to have tint done, but not far from my office. The tint person is backlogged from the last deliveries. Glad to have it!

Does anyone know what tinting shop Mortiz Kia of Fort Worth uses for their "premium prep package" (which they automatically apply upon arrival)? I originally planned to having tinting done at the third-party shop of my choice, but this wasn't possible due to the "premium prep" already being done. I know they contract out to a local tinting shop, but I haven't been able to find out which one. Ultimately, I just want to know what type of tinting was applied. I know it was a Llumar product, but don't know if it was ceramic or just some level of dyed / carbon tint.

Anyone order late last year and still waiting?? I ordered Nov 1 from Moritz Alliance. Got called in June that my order was picked up but told today that the ETA is 10/4!!! I never thought I'd be waiting almost a full year. They told me 1 - 5 months when I ordered!

I am glad your sales rep will respond to you, mine, not so much, so I called Kia thinking they could give me information, all they did was reach out to my rep to get information I already knew (that Kia had not picked it up yet), was wanting to find out were in the line I was. It took Kia reaching out to him 3 times before he finally responded to them.

Wow I would try reaching out to the manager mentioned above. I've seen multiple SXs ordered in Feb getting picked up the last few weeks. Something must've gotten messed up if you haven't heard anything for a December order

I ordered a Gravity Gray SX FWD from Alliance. I *think* I spotted my VIN in failcat last week. Tried checking on it but haven't gotten a response back yet from our salesperson. I was going to give it until Monday and try again.

I did! I emailed him last week and he told me he still hasn't heard anything and said he hopes to know something more next month. I keep checking Failcat, but I haven't seen anything like mine show up on there yet. Congratulations on getting a date!

Oh gosh, at least you got a response. It seems that since you ordered a month after me, that it shouldn't be too much longer. Hopefully!! We've waited long enough!
