• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Motormouth: Still the best? And vs. Highlander

If you pay attention, Toyotas in general always have good gas mileage compared to rivals with similar engine spec. Drive one and you’ll know why, the throttle lag, very frustrating. Toyota cares more about the numbers than actual drivability. I’ll still buy one for my kids but never for myself. I owned enough Toyotas in the past and when I read about the slow downshifting on the new Highlander I knew right away I wouldn’t even consider one, beside the tiny third row.
