I check glove box and there were no screws left behind to use. I assume the screws that I need would be self tapping about 1/2 in in length? You are suppose to use the little divots to mount the plate. If you turn the bracket around you'll see that those holes are aligned with plastic "columns" to take the screw. The package contains 5 screws. Three to mount the bracket and 2 to mount the plate to the bracket.
Your dealer should do this if he is any kind of a dealerI check glove box and there were no screws left behind to use. I assume the screws that I need would be self tapping about 1/2 in in length?

Got plates in the mail and need to mount front plate. I have attached photo of mounting area. I think you have option of using a self tapping screw into the pre-guide holes or using an insert in the two square holes that expands as you screw in the screw. What do you all think?View attachment 3047
Thanks - I will stop by the dealer and get the screws or get them to mount the plates. Also, the square holes are not for inserts. The other end of the square opening hits the bumper. It's simply a spacer. The bracket itself is pretty much hollow so don't screw anything in other than the designated spots (the 2 sets of divots/dimples) at the top of the bracket, near the square opening. Your plates should align to either one of the set.
I told dealer not to mount the front bracket so he gave me the complete kit. It comes with 5 screws. I guess you're missing the two shorter ones for the plate
