That is a great turnaround time . Was that your order from scratch or was it already allocated to the dealer (maybe because someone else backed out) and it was assigned to you?

I test drove at a different dealership, but that deal fell through. I placed a deposit on an unreserved telluride coming in as dealer stock from their regular allocation around mid-september. Car has arrived and i should be picking her up on Friday.

Golling Kia-Madison heights Michigan. Just got our EX premium package last night. MSRP. The drive to Michigan would prob make it in savings. They are a brand new dealership and we had a great experience. They got sent 22 tellurides from Kia this week and because they don’t have purchase orders since they are a brand new dealership you can snag one. They even had some coveted SXs when I was looking finishing the paperwork.

Wow, just checked and they do have a ton - even the exact make / model I ordered today!
I’m tempted to make that drive...but likely not worth the miles at this point.

Ehretjs, Northtown Kia is great to work with! Simeon, the sales manager, is awesome. I am in the Philadelphia area and all of the dealers around here are greedy so I had to look around a 7-8 hour driving radius to find dealers who would sell at MSRP. I did not want to order and wait, so I checked Failcat every day, sorted it by what mattered to me (SX AWD TOW), and then called dealers to find out if their allotments were already sold. Northtown did not have any unsolds that were what I was looking for, but great dealership. I ended up buying from Team Kia in Johnstown PA. It was seamless. The car came in Monday, I claimed it Tuesday and drove it home Wednesday. If you are a little flexible on color, you can get lucky through dealer allotment or someone backing out. For the most part, working with family-owned dealerships was the way to go - they do not want to alienate future customers by charging a bogus greedy pocket-lining fee. Good luck!

Good point, Nac. Also FX Caprera Kia in Watertown NY is MSRP, as is Dorschel Kia in Rochester. The Canandaigua Kia usually does a 2k markup but was willing to sell me an ebony SX T/P/N at MSRP as the original orderer backed out of the deal.

They gave a vague “4-6 months” but also said that production is ramping up and hopefully it’ll be on the lower end of the estimate.

Your wait time will depend on the trim that you order. However, consider at least 3 months time frame if you're ordering an SX. For other lower trims you may get one sooner than normal wait time considering the production ramping up now.

Hey @Sybertron, I saw your ETA was 11/3 on the tracking Thread. Could you please update us on how financing (if you are) and fees go at Nutley when you take the delivery? I ordered from Nutley as well and want to have as much information as possible in advance.

Hi @locorecto I will be financing my car but may or may not go with Kia financing, but will let you know.

In my order sheet there is only a $399 Docs fee. However I know all dealers charge the following in NJ:
- Registration Fee of $84.00
- Title Fee of $60.00
- NJ Luxury Vehicle Tax (any vehicle over 45k or less than 19 mpg) - 0.4%
- NJ Sales Tax - 6.625%

You will need to pay those no matter what. Even if you register the vehicle yourself @ DMV

Dorschel was offering $500 off MSRP and Matthews was offering $200 off MSRP. I think word is getting out because their inbound vehicles are getting snapped up.
