Msrp telluride ny nj ct

Dorschel was offering $500 off MSRP and Matthews was offering $200 off MSRP. I think word is getting out because their inbound vehicles are getting snapped up.
Thanks. I still don't understand why my local dealer in NJ is insisting on 8k markup on SX models when they have many sitting on their lot, with more coming in. I'm happy with Executive so far, even though their doc fee of $599 is definitely on the higher side.

If you don't mind sharing which NJ dealer are you referring to? Mostly all dealers in NJ are charging over MSRP except Nutley Kia.

DiFeo in NJ is charging 8k over MSRP for SX trim. I ordered at MSRP from Executive in CT. I didn't go with Nutley because I didn't feel comfortable leaving a 5k deposit with them. That deposit would be refundable but only after the car came in and was sold. Executive was a $500 deposit refundable at any time.

Yes, makes sense. What trim did you order and what's the timeline they told you?

SX. They initially said 5-6 months. But with my first ETA, it looks like just over 3 months. But ETAs change. Hopefully it will show up earlier.

When did you order and were you able to test drive?

Stamford Kia is still selling at MSRP, and they have been a pleasure to work with. We've handled everything up this point by phone, text and email, and my car is due to arrive tomorrow. If you call them, ask for B, she's who I am working with.

Good experience with Stamford Kia here as well. I paid MSRP. Everything was straight forward. I worked with Steve K. and he was super helpful.

I ordered on 9/9. They quoted 2-4 month wait and I picked up today 12/12. They let me test drive before I put in the order.

I ended up getting an sx n/p/t from Mathews Kia next to Binghamton. Had a very smooth experience with them and got it for $200 below msrp! And their doc fee is only $75. I called and put a deposit down on the car about a month out before they were expecting delivery. Highly recommend them if you are willing to drive to Binghamton. Worked with bill Kalka who was great.

Duchess Kia in Poughkeepsie NY told me they were selling at MSRP. Might be worth a look checking with them if in that area.

Ended up buying a Telluride at Destination Kia (Albany, NY) at MSRP. Initially called them and they told me they are marking up the vehicles 5%. Said no thanks and hung up. About a week later I got a call asking if I was still interested -- I said yes but not above MSRP. They agreed and I got them to throw in extra mats too. When I picked up the car it was a seamless experience and I'd highly recommend them.

That's great. Seems like the hype is dying down a little bit in certain locations. Most likely they had that Telluride on the lot a little more time than what they expected and before getting dinged by Kia for not moving inventory fast enough, they offered it to you at MSRP.

Thanks for the info all..i just ordered through crowley kia..for msrp and no vin etching. Only fee was dealer fee.

Considering that the Telluride did a record 9,824 units last month, don't think it's so much the hype dying down a bit in certain areas, as much as it is increased supply allowing more buyers to get their hands on one from a dealership that has been selling at MSRP (hence, forcing more dealerships that have been upcharging to match those prices).

You could be right. Although I was under the impression that the record production month for the Telluride is October 2020 (10,276) according to failcat.

^ My reference was to record sales in December (due to the holidays, December is not a good month to try to achieve record production).

Combined, the Telluride and Pallisade did over18k last month.

These 2 models have boosted H/K dealership profits more so than any other models in their respective lineups.

Ahhh, got it.

Just wanted to give an update to my Crowley Kia experience. Andrew cormier was my sales guy. Very nice and professional, didnt push any b.s charges on me..but i did have an issue with financing. And after looking at thier google reviews..im not the only one.

Typical bait and switch operation at this dealer. They told me my finance rate would be what ever kia offered on the site. I specifically asked about the 1.9 for 66months. They said it would be based on my credit. Then after the financial packet was completed (+800 credit) saleman told me i was good for the apr. Then on pick up day, after driving 2hrs to pick up car from out of state under the assumption of 1.9apr. Finance lady told me they dont offer the advertised offical kia fiance rate and gave me a very high rate (3.45), higher then typical rates. Current autoloans for 800+ credit is (2.5-2.9) I completely understand each dealer has the right to participate in certain programs but I was very upset that at no time during the 60 days i waited for the car did anyone tell me they dont accept offical kia advertised pricing. Even when asked on seperate dates specifically about the 1.9 apr. She told me i could ways pay off the car in cash. Very shady practice. If i knew the apr was so high-i coild have easily gotten my own loan. All she kept repeating in response to my dismay, " at least we are not charging over msrp". I actually respect dealers that are at least upfront with upcharges. Instead of dealer that find sneaky ways to tack on charges. Up charged around 1300.

Has anyone used Stamford recently? Or have any other dealer recs for ordering near the NYC area?

Nutley Kia, NJ. They’ve been great dealership to do business with.
