• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I decided to share so everyone else could continue to form an opinion. I purchased the headlights linked below. They are AMAZING. Super bright, great coverage, easy to install. There is a very slight dark spot directly at the end of the hood, but that is all I notice. Pros are totally worth it. Pics are no brights and then brights.

Could you find a really dark road and take pics of the lighting? I've upgraded to LED and still find the lighting unacceptable when driving on slight downhill and curvy roads.

I live in a city so it may be a while before I make it out to a dark area. I too have had issues with hills and curves but it was the same even with the halogen bulbs. I think it's because I'm not use to the projector type lights with a really strict cutoff line. I'm slowly getting use to it though.

I recently picked these up and will be doing the install tomorrow. I will be quite satisfied if the results are anything like theses photos!

That's great. If I weren't trading my Pacifica on the KT, I would buy these. Results probably would be terrible because of the pathetic 40 year old technology "reflector" non projector housing. I tried a similar product and it was awful in that housing. Excellent results you have.

My dealer told me I would void the warranty if I changed out the type of bulbs on my Telluride EX for LEDs. It's so dangerous to drive my car at night that it might be worth it to void the warranty, but do you know if this is true? If so, is it only the warranty on the headlights that gets voided?

Great post. Thank you.

No, it will not void your warranty. They would have to prove that whatever problem you had was caused by the LED headlights. If your motor or transmission goes out, they would have a real hard time proving it.

No. You are not modifying the electronics in the car. That is my opinion. Always keep your stock bulbs in the glove box in case you’re on a road trip and your new bulb fails. More of an issue when using upgraded halogen bulbs that burn out in 6-12 months. LED should last a lifetime. Still save the stock as a spare should the need arise to re install them (wink wink).

On the Honda forum there has been talk about LEDs icing over in a snow storm because they don’t generate heat. Not sure how much this is an issue in the real world and potentially could be for any LED including factory stock LED. The aftermarket bulbs include cooling fins so some heat is generated but apparently not at the level of the lens. Lots of forum talk but few technical articles on google. Each time I click on a replacement LED bulb, Amazon says it will not fit my Telluride EX! Am I missing something? Any help or guidance, saving frustration & money would be greatly appreciated.

Since the car so newer this will happen until more pepole confirm the bulb fits and works. I tried 3 sets already and now about to install my 3rd one - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PT53LTZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Since I'm a prime member returns are much faster so why not keep testing different lights. :-)

Just ordered new bulbs from Twelvolt based on earlier recommendations. Anyone who has changed them out already and willing to post a few notes on how to change them, or videos or pictures, I would be so grateful. I am somewhat technical, but have not done this before and would not want to screw anything up. Thanks much!

Quick update, the install was about 30 minutes and went without a hitch. The install is perfect and the LED beam matches the proper/same height as the old OEM halogens. First pic is of factory halogens, 2nd pic is with the LED's listed above.

After failing at installing yesterday, I got my son, a lefty, to help me. After twenty min. we were able to replace the bulbs with Auxito LEDs. The height of beam is dead on, now I can't wit until it is dark out to give them a try. I don't think Kia could have put these bulbs in much more of a difficult place. The dust covers and housing SHOULD be a little larger! A feeling of accomplishment after yesterdays frustration.

Update 2. After a week with them in, I have only been 'flashed' by one person. It just so happens it was someone in a lifted pickup truck w/ LED's as well. The only time that they may appear to be excessively bright is during rapid acceleration or when heading up a rise or hill. Then it may appear to oncoming traffic that you have the brights on. This is in part due to the 'projector' style lens the Telluride has.

I would say it depends on how tight the bulbs are in the housing. We struggled to get a good grip so that we could apply the proper amount of torque. At 72, I didn't seem to have enough strength to move the bulbs and I was afraid I might break them. My son ended up getting the bulbs out and the leds in, but it took multiple tries in a confined space.
