• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi All. Want to share my recent experience with non-functioning Nav. Up until this morning, nav would not find ANY address I plugged in, returning the "No Results Found or Weak Signal" error. Clicking to use the Offline Search was hit-or miss, but largely miss. Today, I did the following: Under the UVO settings menu, I selected the Activate menu option, even though the system showed that the car was already "Enrolled." From this point on, I can now find any address i put in. I'm hoping this is a permanent fix, but I'll keep an eye on it and report back if it reverts. Hope this helps!

My nav keeps telling me no network when I try to put a address in

Yes, I get the same error from time to time. I will take a video and ask dealer to look into it if it continues. I have the car enrolled in UVO, it's a different message than the "can't find address ..." issue above.

This might only be when car has been Bluetooth connected to my phone - so I will investigate.

You must also type in the full state and city name. I found that this helps along with being in a clear field of view.

I'm getting the error when pressing the UVO button up top - it used to work - but says network not available. This is happening when it's Bluetoothed to my phone, but UVO is registered on my wife's phone. Maybe that has something to do with it. I disconnected my phone today and it worked... only after disconnect. I need to do more testing... interesting issue.

I had the same problem today but could not stop to investigate . I was trying to use voice commands to find an address. That worked very well last week but not today.

There is a TSB to fix this issue. See this post:

I haven't done this yet, but I will soon.

Yesterday started getting "No network response" when using voice to enter destination on my 2019 Optima too! Worked previously. No TSB for my car...only Telluride and Seol. Made appt. w/dealer. Car is two weeks old and the other day I connected my Android Auto for the first time just to test. Uncertain if it could be related. I have not connected the Android Auto since the initial test but the UVO worked prior but not after.

My 2019 Niro stopped working this week as well. It worked fine from August through Tuesday, and now getting 'No Network Response'. Sounds like an Kia issue with the service.

Same here, I'm getting "No network response" on my 2020 optima when using voice command to input address. It was working fine a week earlier. Is Kia network down?

I am also getting no network response from last 4 days at every location. As @

I think i have same issue. The voice command was working fine before trying android auto. Now no network response error all the time. I will try to do more experiments tomorrow and will let you know.

Called UVO today and apparently they are aware of this "no network response" issue "some" are having. They say they are working on a solution but were unable to really provide any time frame for when it may fixed. With UVO down I am having to use android auto for inputting voice nav requests. I find Android Auto seems to work much slower through my new Kia than it did on my previous 2017 vehicle with Sync 3. Android Auto still seems a more comprehensive solution than UVO which disables voice texting while driving and only allows a few auto replies. I can do more safely by voice when driving with my phone as well as my smartwatch. Additionally I had a remote start system installed since it is inconvenient to start via the app so I doubt I will want to pay $300/yr for the service in its present form. Some countries get 3 or 5 years free, but for some reason only the first year is free in the US currently (though perhaps it varies by model too?).

I had this same issue and an update to the systems firmware fixed it. Dealership did it at no charge during an oil change.

Were you getting specific "no network response" message? I am aware of a Telluride and Soul Technical Service Bulletin to update software for a similar iissue but not for other Kia models like mine. When I spoke to UVO by phone I was informed they are having a network issue. I cancelled my service appointment but now I am uncertain.

Apparently UVO voice navigation network is back online for me. Hope others are good too!

That's completely incorrect. You should be able to enter a partial address, and the system will search for matches that you can select from. State and city is only required if your navigation target is outside your current state.

I went to Settings but I can not find "activate menu"

That's because the majority of this thread is a discussion from a couple of years ago. A major firmware update from a bit over a year ago significantly modified the menu system, and that's one part that's no longer applicable.
