My nav keeps telling me no network when I try to put a address in
Are you in a garage? If so get out in the open.My nav keeps telling me no network when I try to put a address in

You must also type in the full state and city name. I found that this helps along with being in a clear field of view.
I had the same problem today but could not stop to investigate . I was trying to use voice commands to find an address. That worked very well last week but not today.
Yesterday started getting "No network response" when using voice to enter destination on my 2019 Optima too! Worked previously. No TSB for my car...only Telluride and Seol. Made appt. w/dealer. Car is two weeks old and the other day I connected my Android Auto for the first time just to test. Uncertain if it could be related. I have not connected the Android Auto since the initial test but the UVO worked prior but not after.
Were you getting specific "no network response" message? I am aware of a Telluride and Soul Technical Service Bulletin to update software for a similar iissue but not for other Kia models like mine. When I spoke to UVO by phone I was informed they are having a network issue. I cancelled my service appointment but now I am uncertain.I had this same issue and an update to the systems firmware fixed it. Dealership did it at no charge during an oil change.
That's completely incorrect. You should be able to enter a partial address, and the system will search for matches that you can select from. State and city is only required if your navigation target is outside your current state. You must also type in the full state and city name. I found that this helps along with being in a clear field of view.

Hi All. Want to share my recent experience with non-functioning Nav. Up until this morning, nav would not find ANY address I plugged in, returning the "No Results Found or Weak Signal" error. Clicking to use the Offline Search was hit-or miss, but largely miss. Today, I did the following: Under the UVO settings menu, I selected the Activate menu option, even though the system showed that the car was already "Enrolled." From this point on, I can now find any address i put in. I'm hoping this is a permanent fix, but I'll keep an eye on it and report back if it reverts. Hope this helps!

That's because the majority of this thread is a discussion from a couple of years ago. A major firmware update from a bit over a year ago significantly modified the menu system, and that's one part that's no longer applicable.I went to Settings but I can not find "activate menu"
I had that problem. I went through the update process (be patient!) and it fixed everything. My nav keeps telling me no network when I try to put a address in
