My name is Paul, 73 years old, a recent widower, live in south Florida. and am a former helicopter pilot.
New to the forum, new to Kia and a new Telluride owner.
I now have a 2021 SX Nightfall edition, Gravity Gray with Butterscotch interior. My last vehicle was a 2007 Toyota Sienna mini-van.
I first went to see the Telluride at the end of July 2020 and liked it but they didn't have one I could test drive.
They called me the following week and they had just got one in that they would let me drive. I went in on August 6, drove the SUV and decided to buy.
At first I wanted to order one special but they convinced me that the wait would be very long. In some ways I wish I had waited, I wanted the Prestige package and towing option. They indicated that they would be getting a shipment on August 10th. I looked at the specs of one and agreed. I gave them a deposit and waited patiently.
Well the 10th came, no car. It was coming in every week until finally I got it on September 15th.
I wasn't happy about it but from some of the stories I read, I was probably lucky.
I am very happy with the Telluride and I chose it over a BMW, Toyota, and Lexus.
I am still learning how to use all the functions but I have nothing else to do. Lol.
