  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’ve been looking at Tellurides for months now, finally was able to convince the wife on putting an order in for a SX FWD Gravity Gray/Black with tow and side steps. The hardest part was weighing whether or not I wanted to buy the Prestige package. I live in NC and have never once needed a AWD vehicle in 10 years, so I knew spending the money on that drivetrain would not be a value add for me. While I love the Dune Brown seats and the quality headliner, the HUD does nothing for me personally and could care less about auto wipers. The idea of spending the extra for the AWD so I could buy the Prestige, about $4k just for upgraded leather seats and headliner in terms of what I actually valued, didn’t make any sense to me.

Thanks to the info on this forum I’m on the list at a high volume dealer at MSRP. Dealer quoted 4-5 month wait but said that it could be sooner, just want to be conservative. I’m upgrading from a 2015 Honda Fit, so it’s safe to say I’m ready to have the Telluride in my driveway. The long wait begins :)

Welcome and nice combo. I have gravity grey with black interior limited nightsky. We need the awd where I live. HUD was something I’ve never had or used before but I gotta say I love it and don’t think I’ll get another vehicle without one. I’m a visual person so the navigation coming up on the HUD for me was awesome. Lots to read and research on this forum while your waiting.

I’m also a new member coming from Honda, and I’ll say I love the way Gravity Grey looks. Hope your new Telluride impresses you on delivery day! Did you get to see your color choice in person on another vehicle before you ordered?

I was able to see Gravity Grey, Moss, Ebony Black, Glacier White, and Sangria all in person. My previous vehicles have all been white or black so just wanted something different, and the Gravity Grey has just the right “personality” for what I’m going for. Also debated the NFE GG but at the end of the day I like the chrome accents better with this color and I personally much prefer the SX wheels than the NFE.
