Here's my list:

• Is there any way to have the UVO system import MP3s from USB thumb drive? Right now you can't have USB or phone/Carplay connected at the same time.
• With adaptive cruise control, the vehicle will come to a complete stop in bumper to bumper traffic, but if you're stopped more than a few seconds, the vehicle will not resume unless you press the gas pedal or the cruise +/- buttons. Would be good if the car would auto resume (like other vehicles and my Tesla).
• There is lots of confusion as to how long the UVO service will be free with the vehicle? Are there different included lengths for different models? Some have said that SX includes 3 years of UVO for free. For me (SX owner) the UVO app shows expiration of 2020 but the subscription info in the car shows expiration of 2022.
• Would be good if you offered a cargo tray (similar to the tri fold) that behaved like the carpeted cargo mat that split 60/4 with the 3rd row and be kept more permanently and allowed protection when one seat is folded down.
• Are there any plans for a filler console between the 2nd row captains chairs? Would be good to have more storage between this space and be no higher than than the seats when they are folded down.

Appreciate your help and to utilize the forum for constructive improvements! I'm in the consumer electronics industry and also shadow forums for my products to see where customers are having issues and to improve current and future product.

5. Storage between the 2nd row captain chairs - looking into possibilities that can also continue to provide ingress/egress to the 3rd row (some passengers like to ingress/egress between the seats instead)

Ok...So production is not product but maybe you can cut through all the BS and dealer misdirection and give us the correct production numbers for 2019 and beyond. 40000, 60000, 100000? I'd guess its somewhere around 60000 units.

Overall we are very happy with our silver EX. I love the safety features and the large infotainment screen. The seats are super comfortable and it rides great. Weve only got 300 miles in so far, so I dont really have a lot of miles behind us and surely havent experienced some of the features yet. I do have a few comments/questions.

I'd like to know about the ambient lighting missing on the EX level and below. We can see the light strips, seems silly to not use something that is there. There was mention that they may be activated in the future on the forum earlier today. Can you tell us anymore about that?

I wish the Kia Access app was a little easier to login, requiring a full phone number or email address with a complicated password that doesn't have a remember me feature to be able to remote start almost makes it not worth it. I'd prefer a pin over a password or the ability for it remember a device so login isn't required at all.

I'd suggest the little flip lid over the charging pad be improved. The high gloss shows fingerprints everytime you touch it, which you have to do to open it. It feels like it's going to break when you press it down to get it to open. I imagine it's been tested like crazy and it only feels like it would break but I think it would work just as well with a little handle to lift it instead of the press to release hinge.

Is there a right left headlight adjustment? Our passenger side headlight doesn't seem centered, it points to the middle of the headlight a bit.

It would be useful to add a side handle to the rear doors frames to be able to use to pull yourself into the back row. The top one helps with getting out but not so much with getting in. The second row has one, one for the third would help too.

2. Kia Access App: Understood and will let the team know. There is a potential countermeasure - Do you have a fingerprint reader on your phone? I can log in instantly using the fingerprint option on my phone.
3. Flip Lid: Will investigate. I am not crazy about the "press to open" logic either.
4. Headlamps: Please visit your dealer so that a certified technician can look into this and make adjustments if necessary.
5. Ingress to 3rd row: There is an integrated handle molded into the side panel to aid ingress without creating any interference with ingress or egress.

I'd like to know how "Copper Black" (avail. only on SX) is different from "Ebony Black" and if any adjustments are going to be made in order to bring more color out in the copper black. Is it somewhat blackberry in hue as the NY auto show pics suggest? Or maybe a bit of orange tint or flecking which no one really can discern but the name suggests? Or just a really, really dark Sangria variant? "Sangria Noir?" I'm wondering if you have any info on this. Thanks

Great question and I am sure many others are wondering the same thing.

Black Copper was exclusively developed for the Telluride and provides an upscale appearance (I am not aware of any segment competitors that offer a color like Black Copper).
Black Copper offers a variable brown tone while Ebony Black is just that, black.
Depending on the light, Black Copper offers a different hue, which is the beauty of this color.
In the dark, these two colors can appear to be very similar.

One of my favorite color combinations are Black Copper exterior with the Dune Brown interior (available on the SX with the Prestige Pkg. only).

This may sound corny but we've literally given the Telluride everything possible to be the best SUV in the segment - hence the term "GIVE IT EVERYTHING".

Being a car enthusiast and being a member of multiple vehicle forums, I've always wished that the product planner of the vehicle would join the forum to provide comments and answer questions.

1. I'm hoping the "for now" part is there on purpose
2. I'm one of the oddballs that never used a locks reen but I set it up to try it and it works just like you said. Yay! I'm in Florida so it's already time to crank the a/c immediately upon getting in a car. This will make it much faster.
3. Thanks, I hate fingerprint smudges and would hate to break something so simple. I've been just leaving it open to avoid both.
4. Will do. We switched to led bulbs but it was this way with the halogens too, we hoped the led would fix it but it didn't.
5. Neither my husband, kids or I had spotted that little handhold crevice, that will do exactly what we were thinking.

2 ... someone mentioned if HDA is enabled it is possible. However, if this comes afterwards would be great as a free FW upgrade a la Tesla.
3 ... I guess I’ll have to see what happens when I hit the year mark
4 ... Please see the link below. Kia makes this as a carpet mat, would be good if it were molded plastic/rubber so split functionality of the 3rd row isn’t lost with protection.

5 ... IMHO an accessory of this type could forgo between seat in/egress. There is an alternative method using the seat back button to exit; however if this becomes a safety isue I understand the need

FYI. I’m not far from HQ, I’m near the Spectrum in Irvine if you’re ever looking for direct feedback. I’ve owned (and still own) multiple $100+ vehicles and came away very impressed with the Telluride — my first Kia. I couldn’t justify the $100K price for an X7 over the value of the Telluride. Great job. I believe I gave you a shout out well before you came on to the forum.

I was very disappointed that the Telluride does not have dimming outside mirrors at any trim level. Please add them to your to do list. What good are all those safety features if you are blinded by the guy in the next lane?

Hate that feature on my Stinger! Totally sucks you have to defeat it every time manually.
