However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The Hell With It! I cannot resist the Dark Moss! I am weak! If the KFOS system comes up before I wimp out, I am putting in and order and deposit ASAP!

Does anyone have any suggestions to add to this list (or is anything on here a bad idea?). Thanks again!

KIA Telluride 2021SX AWD
  • Dark Moss
  • Espresso
  • Cargo Seatback Up Mat
  • Cargo Tray, Folding
  • Cargo Cover
  • Interior Light Kit, Multicolored
  • Wheel Locks
  • Carpeted Floor Mats
  • LED Fog Lights
  • Door Sill Plates, Illuminated
  • All Weather Floor Mats
Bump up to the Prestige package and add side steps for a more premium look.

Change Espresso to Dune Brown

Get these highly recommended items:
#1: OEM All Weather Floor Mats (TELLURIDE is stamped into the material, perfect fit and hooks perfectly into the floor tabs)
#2: OEM Carpeted Cargo Mat w/ Seat Back Protection (not too thick with a rubberized base layer and synthetic low-maintenance “carpeting”, full coverage, stays put, perfect fit)
#3: OEM Cargo Cover (awesome because it hides everything in the cargo area)

If you have thieving scum in your area or where you park for work/errands, get the OEM Wheel Locks too if you want.
Thanks!

A few follow-ups:
1. Forgetting about looks preferences is there a quality level difference in the Dune vs the Espresso seats? Thats the only reason I would remotely consider Dune. I really do not like the black headliner at all and have no need for anything else in that Prestige package and I particularly hate the HUD.
2. I prefer the Cargo Tray over the Mat - more hard core and rustic and better protection seems to me
3. All weather mats and cargo cover 👍
4. Wheels locks 👍

Just get the car from the dealer as you like, all the add ons can be bought through this forum or Ebay for many times 1/2 the price. I can give you a generalized price of what I paid from Ebay:
Mudflaps: $100
Tow Hitch, harness, cover plate: $420
Carpet floor mats: $75
Carpeted cargo and seat back cover $115
Cross bars: $230
If the dealer can beat those, get them.

The foam cushioning should be the same but Dune Brown Nappa Leather is definitely an upgrade from the standard leather. The stitching pattern is different too.

You can use the tray on top of the mat. The reason why I recommend the mat is that it’s cut to fit perfectly, edge to edge on all the contours of the cargo area. Look at the previous stickers from other owners. Plenty of Telly owners have both.

If you don’t want the other Prestige Package features, fine, but the leather/color upgrade plus the dark premium cloth headliner are amazing and the HUD is awesome but you can turn it off anytime you want.

Here are a couple on my Telly
Thanks Frankie your ride looks stellar! The running boards look nice! For me if I were going for a Sporty / Off-road look the side steps would be perfect! But I am going for the clean line, super luxury look and I think the side steps clash with the look I’m going for. I may reconsider and add them after I get the car.

I took advantage of the kDealer / KFOS hack to spend even more money on my custom build!! Out goes the Espresso and in comes DUNE TO THE MOON! If the system is down through the weekend I am very afraid of a bourbon-infused "middle of the night" further upgrade to my build!

Hopefully you can handle your bourbon enough that you don’t accidentally order a upgraded Prius 😂

Smart move. If your going to spend 45-50k on a super nice vehicle, you might as well go full tilt.

Don’t want to be that guy and kill the buzz, but I think you’re limited to 6 PIOs. Some of your list will be dealer options
No big deal ill just choose all the cheap ones as dealer adds like the mats, wheel locks, etc (assuming I get a choice)

Get the side steps as part of your order......it will be 690.00 installed at the factory. Otherwise, the dealer will charge you that 690.00 plus installation. Save yourself some money.

Interesting. When my order finally got picked up by KFOS, the only factory option I had included was the "Towing" "package" with the factory-installed OEM trailer hitch receiver to the frame and the Mando (Nivomat-style) self-leveling rear shock absorbers and the OEM Carpeted Floor Mats, even though I had asked for pretty much Buck's list minus the running boards.

If you're going to get anything on that list, I believe the OEM Cargo Cover is a much better price direct as a factory purchase if you can get it on the sticker. I got my cover, and the rest of the options I wanted through the parts department:

Three priority options, in my experience, so far:

#1: OEM Carpeted Cargo Mat with Seat Back Protection (best investment so far. Fits the cargo area edge-to-edge, easy to lift to access the storage well, full rubberized layer for full protection without adding wasted thickness.)
#2: OEM Cargo Cover (Your Telly has all the cut-outs and latches designed for this option. Get it from factory if you want the better price)
#3: OEM All Weather Floor Mats (perfect material for both heels, both feet, hooks onto the original tabs perfectly, looks great with "TELLURIDE" stamped into the material, easy to clean and/or wipe down. I might add a WeatherTech 2nd row liner later to protect the 2nd row center hump from the pups or any theoretical future kids, but for now, all good :)

Depending on where you park:

OEM or aftermarket Wheel Locks (if you have to regularly or occasionally park in questionable areas, only $60 for OEMs so why not?)

@Frankie Knuckles, agreed.

Worse case situation: if the side steps don't come with the Telly, it's not a bad DIY install if you don't want to shell out for a high price plus a crazy labor fee at a parts/service department :)

Personally, I really wanted the Illuminated Scuff Plates factory-installed so that I wouldn't have to remove any trim pieces myself and risk my hands/tools possibly slipping and accidentally triggering an A-pillar air bag during a DIY install :)

I am NOT DIYing anything on the Telly. I struggle to put the annual tags on my plates correctly so thats the skill level I’m dealing with!

You do know how to use a screwdriver and a wrench, right? :)
