  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I also have a 2004 Maxima and a 2003 Ford Expedition. I didn't really replace anything, but we hope to do some travelling, and I needed something dependable and road worthy. When we first ordered in June 2022 we had hoped to have our Telly by November for a trip to Florida. When I saw that was not going to happen, I put about 1500 in to getting my Expedition in better shape for the trip. Plugs and coil packs. Flush and filled radiator. Changed out some hoses and vacuum lines, new hvac rear damper doors, front brake job. Managed to get all the check engine and door ajar lights taken care of after a few years of dealing with them. :D . I thought about trading in the Maxima, but it needs work and knew they wouldn't give me much for it, so I'm keeping it and will work on it myself for the wife to drive.

The Telluride is a big upgrade from the Expedition, though a bit smaller. I think Kia did a great job with interior volume, however... The Maxima. I always liked them. It's a shame the personal luxury sedan is fading away. They're such comfortable vehicles to cruise in. And the Maxima has a sporty element to it as well.
