Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Potential new owner here too. In Calgary also. Which dealership did you use and did you get any free perks and what was the wait time mentioned.
I went with Straightline Kia. They're quite close to our house, the first offer they gave was enough under MSRP for me, and they gave me a bit of a deal on the OEM hitch. I'm not much of a haggler but the price seemed to be as good as I could get at the other dealers and it was a good experience overall so I was happy to go with them.
Oh and they said 1-2 month wait. When we first started talking it was 2-3 months, but that lowered a bit near the end of negotiations. Seemed like that's because the SX Limited might be quicker to get, but I was good with a 2-3 months so we'll see.
