Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I tracked on down that was on the delivery list after chasing about 30 dealers and many phone calls. I have the deposit on the one in for delivery. The dealership is actually 600 miles from where I live. The dealerships close to me are selling them at extorsion rates. The Dealership in Tyler, TX wanted an additional 13K over the MSRP for a nightfall package. I had put money down on that unit and waited for it to arrive, it was after the arrival they made me aware of this excessive or extortion fee. I am not going to pay over 13k. The Dealership had it at 64K, sorry but you can get a GLC for that price. I continued until I finally found a couple of dealerships that would only charge 995 additional fee. Seeing these are in demand i'm okay with that small fee. Then I had them go thru the delivery list to see what they had on delivery, only about 13 days of info, the couple of dealers actually contacted KIA direct and inquired to get the delivery further out and a few weeks. Really strange that they are so limited on delivery info. Anyway I was able to get a unit and put the deposit on the unit coming into the dealer. I really have no control over the package, it is pre-built. So, I am waiting to drive 600+ miles to pick up my new unit in a few weeks. Sorry I do not have one in my driveway as of yet.

I recieved our new Telluride about 10 days ago. This is the pic's from the first Sunday Drive the wife and I took, sort of a shake down run, get familiar with all of the controls. So it is a little dirty, we took on our share of "love bugs". This is an SX Prestige with the Dune leather, tow package with self leveling suspension, carpets, cargo carpet, cargo cover, etc.. They did forget to install the front skid plate, the dealer is ordering one and will install the skid plate, the skid plate cost $100 more if you order it vs. having it installed at the factory. The dealer is picking up the cost difference and installing at no charge, he is making it right, so minor inconviencence.
