Probably a dumb question, but how do you black out the tailpipes?Looks great! You should black out the tailpipes as well
I taped off all around. Un hooked the last hanger and put a small block between the pipe and underside of vehicle. Sanded the pipes to rough them up some to take the paint with fine grit sandpaper. Then painted the tips gloss black with high heat paint.Probably a dumb question, but how do you black out the tailpipes?
Same with the side steps. Gotta go to Canada for an oem black optionI did the exact same as IATelluride. Looks great.
I have no idea why KIA created a Nightfall trim option but left the tailpipes chrome - everything else is blacked out.

Did you paint the grill, or is that the nightfall grill?Picked this up about a week and a half ago! Love the wolf gray. Decided to remove the back AWD, EX, etc. Threw on the KLexus badges and also removed the front TELLURIDE lettering. Last thing I'm going to do is wrap the roof. We absolutely love this ride!View attachment 15611

Everything looks awesome man! Great job! May I ask where did you get the nightfall grill?Nightfall grill
Got it! Thanks!@Micthepoet Thanks buddy. It is a Gray Wolf Nightfall edition so it came with the car. I just put on the blacked out badge to change it up a little bit.
Personally, I think if you removed All of the badging, it could look too plain... I kinda like the badging, letters, boldness of "Telluride" written across the front and back...I'm torn... as a lazy guy, I'm considering removing all the lettering from my Telluride S , maybe even the AWD and V6 stuff... But, to some degree, I really like the Telluride lettering front and back
Anyone care to give their opinions in a general sense about removing all badging from the painted surface are of a Telluride?
Mine is the White Perl. I guess my concern, is that it will start to look too plain if I remove it all... but as I said, for washing/waxing purposes, I really like the idea of removing it, especially the Telluride lettering, because that's a lot of surface area to fiddle with when polishing or applying some surface protectant
I do tend to agree... I'm still trying to convince myself the 'stealth' look would make up for the loss of boldness.Personally, I think if you removed All of the badging, it could look too plain... I kinda like the badging, letters, boldness of "Telluride" written across the front and back...
It's all personal preference. For me, this works. As far as I'm concerned, I've changed nothing about this SUV that makes it such a great vehicle.I'm torn... as a lazy guy, I'm considering removing all the lettering from my Telluride S , maybe even the AWD and V6 stuff...
